And with the quality of defensive players we've had the last three years, the fact that we struggled as much as we have is entirely on Ty's shoulders.
I'm not asking for NDSU's defense, but some consistency would be nice.
I agree. Gregorak has got much better players on defense that any other Big Sky team. We look great on D against bottom feeders, but not so much against better teams. I also have seen no indication that he is able to make game-adjustments to stop what his opponent is doing. But my biggest criticism of him, is the style of defense he runs. Too many Paulson memories. I like Breske's style of defense.
Well which is it? Are we losing the instate recruiting battle and not starting enough Montana kids, or do we have "much better players" on defense than any other Big Sky team? Because there's only ONE (two if you count Rehm) defensive starters from Montana.
