They are not the best athlete in the world, and many of them are lazy shits and have a sense of entitlement. Any person who would coach a sport where you pick who plays has to be high as hell. God forbid little Johnny doesn't play. Wrestling, track, cross country, tennis, golf... Why isn't my kid varsity? Because they aren't the best and here is the proof. You're not Joe Montana and neither is your kid, in fact they look more like Chunk from Goonies than an actual athlete and maybe that's why they didn't play.
HERE HERE !!!
Yep 100%..having coached a varsity sport at a AA school, this is so mind blowing, how entitled kids are these days. I had 3 go to quotes I used to tell my players, who happened to be 16-18 yr old girls whenever they complained to me.
1) Life only gets more difficult and competitive from here on out, you might as well start getting used to it here.
2) Theres over a billion Chinese that don't give a shit.
3) Hunger Games... RULES CHANGE!!!!!!!!!!!!
All were affective :thumb:
I would not be conceited enough to say I have seen it all. Mostly because I haven't. However, after almost 20 years experience, both coaching and umpiring little and senior league baseball, I saw & listened enough to know that it was time for me to get out. Strangely, I NEVER had a problem with any of the players, but OMG, the parents!!!!!!!!!!!
