The potential is there, would like to see him develop it and I am sure that is his goal too.moose/squirrel said:CFallsGriz said:Griz2k said:One thing he really needs to work on is being ready for the dish from Jamar or Cherry when they drive. How many did he let go through his legs or fumble away in the chipper? I to believe he could be a good center in a couple of years though.
Was thinking the same. Couple went right between the legs...
To have Ward would have been great...smh
You guys need to give this kid a break. The passers were equally at fault, you don't throw a bounce pass to 7 foot freshman below his waist in traffic. Not in the Big 10, Big East or anywhere. The last TO was when Kareem was out of control and Martin was a desperation destination for a pass. If you are in this situation put it up high where he has a chance to use his biggest strength, his 7 feet. Lay off Andy, he's done pretty well for a skinny kid thrown into the fray because of circumstances out of his control.
Tinks will coach him up and I bet he will pretty good in a couple years. He's a frosh that had to fill in as an emergency measure. Holy Moly, Hutch had 1 board in close to 20 minutes against Weebs and you guys are hating on Andy...SMH
You unfairly attributed turnovers to Andy when crappy passes were a bigger factor. We do agree if Andy inproves the Griz will get better, that is my hope and with Tinks at the helm I don't doubt they WILL get better. I'm sure we all hope the Griz will do well this week and down the road
