Oregon v. Nevada

1. Nevada quit at half time and Oregon had something to prove:

"Dom Peterson, who had four tackles and Nevada’s only sack of the game, felt his team quit in the second half of the onslaught.

“They (Oregon) had to prove – I guess they lost to Auburn – I guess they had to prove to people that they’re still a championship-contending team," Peterson said. “I’m just mad that it was us. I feel like we could’ve done way better. I personally think we gave up at half, which is something I’ve never seen from our team, ever, from last year to now. I was more disappointed than anything in the fact that we gave up because I know we could do better.”

2. "Nevada coach Jay Norvell was complimentary of Oregon, saying the Ducks secondary will be the best the Wolf Pack face and the size, speed and depth of UO’s roster was impressive."

3. Stadium not intimating: "Norvell, who played defensive back at Iowa from 1982-85, felt some of his team’s younger players were wide-eyed playing in front of the 50,920 at Autzen Stadium, though he didn’t personally find it that intimidating."

4. Some injuries: "One of the bright spots that came out of Nevada’s 77-6 loss to Oregon on Saturday was the fact the Wolf Pack came out of the game relatively healthy. Yes, several players, including quarterback Carson Strong and running back Toa Taua got dinged up, but there weren’t any major injuries suffered by Nevada.

Linebacker Maliek Broady was in a boot during Monday’s practice and didn’t suit up and long snapper Karson Thomas also was held out, but coach Jay Norvell was optimistic about their chances of playing against Weber State"

5. "Hamish McClure, a redshirt freshman transfer from Sac State, got the call to sub in for Strong. McClure is the son of Nevada’s offensive line coach, Angus McClure, and wasn’t cleared by the NCAA to play this season until Friday afternoon."

-$400,00 for weebs? is that a typo? thats a crap ton of $

No the Griz get 650 from Oregon right?
the minus in front is what they pay Weebs. So +650 oregon, -400 TO weebs. That article is like a running tally of money in and out for Non conference games.

PR - What's your score prediction for this game?

Have no idea. Not paying any attention to game. Don't follow FBS. Never predict scores. Never heard of Oregon coach till this week. Hear Oregon is weak at QB. Just hope no one gets hurt. Focusing on my Japan trip and getting work done.

Ari told us about the qb when he was a frosh and beat out the Cat, and by god, Ari was damn right and more. He knows his Oregon.

The quarterbacks for Auburn and Nevada are both Freshmen. Daulton Sneed is a 5th year Senior with some weapons. Sneed needs to buy time with his legs, move outside, inside, backwards, forwards, sideways.....whatever it takes! Keep eyes downfield. Recievers need to come back to the ball when the play breaks down. Recievers also need to catch the damn ball and be aggresive on those 50/50 balls. Win some screw em! Montana might be able to do some things that Nevada and Auburn couldn't because damn it we got SNEED they don't! Fired up man! Go Griz!
