Don’t get me wrong, it’s great the Griz have this opportunity to play such a game. I’m sure being irritated at the late start of a nationally televised game can be seen as an elitist perspective, however, I like to be actively engaged in watching/experiencing the event, indulging in some less than optimal food and a beverage or two and not trying to just stay awake. Let’s not forget the price paid the following day for such an activity. Yeah… probably a pretty spoiled perspective, it doesn’t mean it’s not accurate for some.

Party hard the night before and then pick up where you left off the next morning until about 2pm. Take a quick afternoon nap, followed by a "pick me up" drink and you will be primed for tailgating and a night of fun.

Weekend double headed is now much easier for those wanting to go to Oregon-PSU game as that game was moved to Friday. Won’t be much of a game but the tickets will be cheap and plentiful for those wanting to check out a top 5 teams nationally.
