WTH are you talking about? Method? Is that the only way you can still stick to your schtick now?argh! said:AZGrizFan said:Yep. Probably the worst thing that happened during Stitt’s tenure was beating NDSU….gave him a shitload more rope….
to be fair, he lost his first string qb for extended periods every year. according to some, he had a really bad qb his last year after phillips, who i thought was a good qb or even very good, went down in a meaningless game. but, he's gone, and it isn't like i am going to be a giant baby and quit supporting the griz in all aspects just because i didn't feel like the way the next hire was brought on. to be clear, it was the way it went down, the method, not the person hired, etc...

At the time, you were talking about “the person” and not some dumb method excuse.
BH was the right guy, for the right job, at the right time. And you would have passed on him to hire who? Retain Stitt?
“Method.” Pfft.
Selective recall, dullness of your mind? Haslam told Stitt he would retain him for one year, not the 3 Stitt demanded. No one in Griz Nation but you was willing to retain Stitt for 3 years with the direction the program was headed. The discussions then fell apart, justifiably so, and Stitt's ego was on the road. Haslam's biggest mistake and nightmare was over.argh! said:garizzalies said:WTH are you talking about? Method? Is that the only way you can still stick to your schtick now?

you want me to rehash what happened after haslam told stitt he would be retained, then backed out on it because of booster noise? you need a few more "z's" in your name, to emphasize the dullness of your posts, which i assume reflect the dullness of your mind.

Nice pivot from the challenge of your BS post. I stalk BS comments, not posters. Must be a coincidence that a significant ratio come from you.argh! said:kemajic said:Selective recall, dullness of your mind? no, i perfectly recall you saying you were going to take your ball and go home forever, to un-become a griz and um supporter because of a single coach you didn't like, who was still on a trajectory to be fired in a year or two. you aren't a fan or supporter of anything but you. please quit stalking me.
Jeesh, you’re starting to sound like growler now. ZZZZZZZZZ.argh! said:garizzalies said:WTH are you talking about? Method? Is that the only way you can still stick to your schtick now?

Haslam admits he made a bad choice, got bamboozled by a used car salesman, and should have pulled the rug sooner. What did you want him to do?
Would you have preferred we continue down the death spiral rather than fix the problem by giving the job to the greatest coach in our history? If so, we probably would have missed out.
Kem’s comments were down right noble compared to the crap you’ve spewed against Hauck. Thank god for Kem and the big boosters forcing Haslam to rip off the bandaid.
Let me say it again: you talked trash for years during the first stint, and you actively campaigned against rehiring “the person” (and not because of some stupid “method” excuse which didn’t even exist at the time). Now you’re trying to re-write history but I’m here to make sure you wear that badge, buddy!

3 days is pretty good around here.
We could beat the Chiefs and by the next Friday it would be a dogshit win somehow. That’s how we roll.

you are the one wearing the 'badge', and trying to make sure everybody thinks just like you do about hauck, who i have never 'smeared'. the ones who smeared him were alpo (alpha), sunshine, and others - they were the clowns who came up with 'big game bob' or whatever. that monikerwas. maybe you haven't been around long enough to remember their incessant dislike of hauck in the past, which is something they don't want you to remember, especially since you were only a member a year or so before hauck left for unlv.. anyway, you have become a pesky annoyance, so congratulations! i never even paid attention to you before, and i won't in the future.

I never referred to Hauck as Big Game Bob. Stop slandering me. I criticize every coach when warranted, and have been critical of Bobby in the past. I'm not a homer like so many on here. But you have had a hatred of Hauck for years, and a woody for Bob Stitt, who was a freaking joke as out head coach. The players hated him, and the fans hated him even more. You also loved Engstrom, who had more to do with ruining this university than anyone I know.
