Troy Andersen is certainly an amazing athlete. But he did not run all that great against WIU. Personally I think we will bottle him up with our LB play but he is going to surprise people through the air.
We will beat the cats with our edge speed. We will run lots of misdirection to neutralize their advantage in the trenches and sqeek out the win Saturday.
Troy had one of his worse YPG games against WIU, but he still ran 24 times for 145 yards and 2 TDs. Only averaged 6 YPC (he is averaging 7.9 now). Also keep in mind this was his first start, the beginning of the "Troy Experiment", and our offense looks different now with Matt Miller as OC.
Honestly I keep hoping he will surprise teams through the air, but he hasn't, and I don't think he will and I don't think the staff will ask him too. If the Cats have some bigger hits through the air it will be Jonsen or Kassis throwing it if I had to guess. But at this point the Cats aren't going to try anything that we haven't tried since Miller took over. We are going to have a combination of Andersen, Jonsen and maybe Kassis (wildcat) taking snaps,
and we are going to run the ball.
