Oldngrizzly Ramblings #2

you named three guys. i am an atheist who was raised catholic. i never believed any of it from day one, because all the god stuff seemed absurd to me, even when i was like 10 years old. despite that, i still will do the cross thing at times when i figure i'll use any superstition i can to 'help' my situation. i've seen athiest chinese do that for luck.
Wil Lutz, Andy Borregales, Cairo Santos and Harrison Mevis are the 4 kickers playing today and all 4 have publicly referenced their Christian faith in interviews.

4 out of...
4 out of 4 playing today. It is not 100%, as I said earlier atheist kickers and punters exist but they are typically rarer than other positions. Chris Kluwe is a well known example of an outspoken atheist punter.

I believe about 75% of NFL quarterbacks identify as Christian. Which has been a pretty consistent trend over the years. Except for Tom Brady who I believe worships Satan.

Tom Brady is Catholic. He went to Catholic schools all the way until Michigan.

Aaron Rodgers is the most well known publicly atheist quarterback. Joe Burrow is a famous agnostic quarterback. Beyond those 2 no NFL starting quarterbacks this past season were publicly agnostic or atheist though that doesn’t mean they don’t hold those views privately.

I know a lot of people that proclaim to be Christian and they proclaim a lot. But really don't act like it.

Here is my thought . Not sure if it's true but back to original question as far as the Griz. It seems when Hauck was rehired in the 2.0 era something changed. Was he told that you need scrutinize the recruits and to get ones with better character? Maybe it's just me thinking to deep. I don't know. Anyway, feel free to take the discussion anywhere you want.

Dumbest thread in a long time.

Coaches want players with good character - friggin shocking.

I'm certain no other Griz coaches or coaches in general throughout history had this as a favorable trait in recruits.

So dumb - OP from one of the posters on here that is stuck on stupid and should absolutely delete their accounts.

How about Hauck 1.0 ? Maybe instead of slinging insults you could answer a question or maybe you just feel good about being an ass to posters.

He didn't bother with character back then - just like all other coaches at the time. Eye roll emoji...

Such a dumb thread and OP.

I am an ass to every dumber than dumb poster on eGriz.com. Just own it.
