Oh well

The BSC isn't down this year. There is just more parity among the top teams. I actually think the overall talent & team strength is up but because the top teams have beaten up on each other a little that could cause the ultimate tourney champ to get a poor seed in the NCAA tourney.

EVERY coach, team or player wants (or should want) to go to the big dance no matter the seed, matchup or potential result! No kid ever dreams of or sets a goal for anything less.

Consistently getting to the NCAA tourney, regardless of the final score does more for recruiting than getting to a lesser tourney even of the team does well at the NIT etc.

Wombat game thread was just six posts long, including a comment that Coach Fish looks like Penn Gillette's younger brother.

Their Cat-erwauling thread is twice as long.

Montana State finished with a school-record 23 losses under first-year coach Brian Fish.

The Big Sky dodged a bullet a least as far as tv exposure. I actually feel a bit sad for Sacto as they have a pretty good team which is a first for them and they played hard every game. I would not be upset if they were to win the tourney in Missoula, since this is a very down year for the conference and Dahlberg Arena shows well on TV nationally. I would rather Sacto play Kentucky this year....

Said the California liberal. Maybe we can all win.... ;)

The Griz match up better against Kentucky than Sac St. does.

Might as well take off that Griz shirt and reveal the Sacramento State shirt you have hiding underneath.
