Montana football has a lot more fans than any UC Davis sport. It is more about how many fans Montana football has for an FCS/small D1 sport rather than UC Davis lacking fans.I am sure your going to tell us why

Can't figure it out huh.I am sure your going to tell us why
Selvig recommended hiring the other assistant. Haslam deserves the blame.Hard to blame Halam for the hiring of Schweyen. She was already hired by Selvig for all practical purposes. Haslam caught hell for letting her go after her 3 year contract expired.
But hiring Stitt was a rock and all his.
Can't figure it out so in this case i
this makes the argument some people have, UM has more fan support and revenue than UC Davis and football both in BSC while other sports in MWC.Can't figure it out huh.
Football is driving re alignment from UM’s perspective because their revenue and brand overwhelmingly come from football and that isn’t a bad thing.this makes the argument some people have, UM has more fan support and revenue than UC Davis and football both in BSC while other sports in MWC.
Not sure that argument means what you think it means.this makes the argument some people have, UM has more fan support and revenue than UC Davis and football both in BSC while other sports in MWC.
It’s not a bad thing but MBB and WBB have the opportunity to make more revenue and more exposure than football.Football is driving re alignment from UM’s perspective because their revenue and brand overwhelmingly come from football and that isn’t a bad thing.

The Mountain West Conference generated an estimated $52.1 million in revenue payouts from men’s NCAA Tournament units earned between 2021 and 2025.please explain
They’re not going to. There are only a handful of schools where basketball makes more revenue than football. There honestly might not be any. It’s not a bad thing but MBB and WBB have the opportunity to make more revenue and more exposure than football.
But this isn't the same MWC.The Mountain West Conference generated an estimated $52.1 million in revenue payouts from men’s NCAA Tournament units earned between 2021 and 2025.
MBB and WBB can make more revenue and exposure than FCS football, that's the whole point. They’re not going to. There are only a handful of schools where basketball makes more revenue than football. There honestly might not be any.
That maybe true in the FBS, not the FCS where most FCS teams loose money. They’re not going to. There are only a handful of schools where basketball makes more revenue than football. There honestly might not be any.
Most FBS, FCS, MBB and WBB teams all lose money and are subsidized by things like large student fees. UM football is one of the few programs that doesn’t lose money. It is a big risk to potentially lose a profit making program when they are not common in modern high level college athletics. That maybe true in the FBS, not the FCS where most FCS teams loose money.
Sorry, I don't believe that would be the case. If MBB and WBB revenue exceeds football than the athletic department is probably in big trouble financially.MBB and WBB can make more revenue and exposure than FCS football, that's the whole point.
Montana basketball isn’t going to be Duke, Kansas or UConn. Those are the basketball programs where revenue is exceeding football revenue. Even at Arizona which is definitely a basketball school they get more revenue from football than basketball. Same with Kentucky.MBB and WBB can make more revenue and exposure than FCS football, that's the whole point.
The only way they are not is if the basketball program is a blue blood which is not possible at Montana due to many reasons.Sorry, I don't believe that would be the case. If MBB and WBB revenue exceeds football than the athletic department is probably in big trouble financially.
