Official Griz @ EWU Game Thread

We need a national search for a real coaching staff. Tye, Rosie, Delaney should be paid off and dismissed before further embarassment.............worst job of coaching by a Griz team ever!!! Mick was a great mentor but a horrible head coach. Season is over!!

We are young and inexperienced. We will improve. That improvement will be in spite of delaney though. Nice guy, but not a quality head coach.

Let's not start ragging on our coaches. OK? They are good coaches, more committed to the Griz winning than we are. They make their living, such as it is, doing this. Leave 'em alone. They are going to be here for the season & they don't need people sh*ting on them. The mark of a fan base is holding to a positive belief that the next game will be better, and supporting, not tearing down the coaches and players.

The Griz showed up far better to a top-notch team than I thought they would, and they lost this game by a literal bounce of the ball and bad call in the 1st QTR that negated a possible Griz TD. Hats off to the Griz coaches and players. It was a very good game. I have great hopes for the Griz rest of this season.

Understand what you are saying, however, what happened to the cadillac? This team is young and is playing hard and won't quit. Montana had a 9 point lead in the 4th quarter. One had to be objective but Montana was running away from NAU and slowed down. They were running down EWU and slowed down with the lead (didn't even milk the clock). EWU is a very good team and when you have a lead on the road you can't slow down, especially with a young team.

You are right about everything but 1 thing. Griz have more talent, in my opinion. A good secondary will give EWU fits. EWU took advantage of the GRIZ weakness, and the GRIZ pissed down their own leg.

All I gotta say is that our DB's got worked real well tonight. That being said, our defense lost the game for us. We were up by 2 possessions in the 4th quarter. Nguyens fumbled did not hurt us, we ended up getting the ball right back with an interception and then putting some points on the board. The way our defense is playing, im not so sure we can make the playoffs. Our corner backs and safeties suck.

Actually that is what i thought, exactly what my wife said as well. However, temper was flying and regretfully taking back not watching, but am positive next year is our year like '10. The Good thing, I hope, is our young squad grows up and terrorizes the field in '13. I truly believe we need to replace Tully. Go Griz! :thumb:

UM doesn't need "fans" like you. Nobody will miss you. No loyalty, don't understand the game, and trash the team after a loss. Don't come back next year, and don't come back later this year when the team has improved and is firing on all or most cylinders. That's my advice, and wish.

Are you kidding me? I hope you dont think this cost us a win...
Henderson catches the ball with :04 sec to go (By the time he turns its :03 sec left)
He can attempt to scamper out of bounds but between him & the sideline is #24 (EWU played outside/In)

He tries to make a play out of little of nothing. I dont think the coaches even intended for him to be apart of the play. From what I watched on replay (several times now)...The play wasnt even designed to go in Hendersons direction.

Watch the replay and listen to the announcer...with :11 Secs to go one of two things are going to happen...you're going hit something quick on the outside to stop the clock to get one last shot or "if there's a good rush and the play gets extended this could be your last shot"

TMck checked down on the run from pressure hit an open player and we needed a play that we didnt get. End of conversation. I am sticking to my pre-season predictions. Henderson will be a factor, f they figure out how to get him the ball consistently. DBs will be biggest question mark and this team will be 8-3 or 7-4 with playoff possibilities still ahead

The BSC is tough from what I have seen conference winner could have TWO losses this year
