Targeting has ruined the game of football
Has it helped prevent the guys flying in out of control, head first and leading with the crown? Absolutely.
Has it hurt the game in scenarios like this? Absolutely.
There was zero Rostad could do when the QB turned into him at the last minute. His head was up, did not lead with the crown. Unfortunate contact angle, but no way should that be a penalty.

If disqualification is the result on this play, even with a review, the rule is the problem.

Under the old targeting rules it wouldn't have been. But they changed the rules so that any kind of helmet to helmet contact is now targeting. Stupid.
