I'm sorry....what?? Did you not see him miss a shoestring sack on the QB, get back up, and then run that f***er down to get the sack anyway? He had 9 tackles with 7 solos in the Cal Poly game. Did you even watch?

I think it depends on which QB is in. Fife tends to throw more to White and Ah Yat to Fontes.

Yes, that's why we have 51 TFL's this season, and three of the top 4 are LB's. Because they rarely make contact at or behind the LOS.

After 9 games, 51 is actually a good figure. 5.67 /game

NFL stats from 2021, TFL
best number, 49ers 98, Steelers 94 5.76 and 5.52/game (17 games)
worst numbers, Packers 52, Colts 56 3.55 and 3.73/game (15 games)

This tells me Griz defenses is on par with best defenses in NFL for 2021, and that Hoops is right about your lack of football knowledge.

I never said it was a lot. YOU made the statement that they “rarely make contact at or behind the LOS”.

2024: 51 in 9 games…5.67/game
2023: 88 in 15 games…5.86/game
2022: 101 in 13 games…7.77/game
2021: 112 in 13 games…8.61/game (O’Connell had 21.5 by himself)
2019: 88 in 14 games…6.28/game

So we’ve been trending down for 4 years. But 5+TFL’s a game isn’t “rarely”.
