O line help, where is it?

Gogriz.com has 11 listed OL returning, without Schmaing, 12 with Schmaing. Schmaing, would be the only SR. The GRIZ will have a lot of JR's of the unit. Add in 2 from PL's list, that brings the GRIZ to 13 or 14. Ideally, I'd like the GRIZ to be at 15 OL. Keep in mind, we don't know everyone our staff is looking at, and won't know until signing day. Also maybe the kids we did lose had a great relationship with Gragg. It is understandable in losing a few recruits due to his departure.

Worse case, we don't add anymore OL this season, we have enough OL going into the season. To make the numbers work, should the GRIZ just be throwing out offers to anyone that can play OL, even if they may not be FCS caliber? Also it is very possible the staff can target more and better OL in the next class. Is it next year the GRIZ get back the 4 scholarships to use? It is very possible there has been communication with potential BCS transfers, who will be waiting until the school year is over, or seeing how the depth charts play out at their current BCS school this spring.

In my opinion, I'd rather have a BCS transfer to fill the depth this season, than a questionable FCS level incoming FR. Also, this is BIG G trying to stir the pot against Stitt. Big G has done nothing but bitch about this hiring from the beginning. He has alternate motives than just being concerned about this recruiting class. I wish Big g honored his bet and not comeback to grace Egriz with his presence.

There are 2 O-linemen committed and there are a couple others who could join on Wednesday...also there are walk-ons. Walk-ons may not excite the fan base, but sometimes they become very good players. Griz fans may not enjoy this analogy, but look down the road to the success Caleb Schreibeis had. Just one example

The kids we have now, the recruits and whomever shows up between now and August 29th, will be just fine. Did you forget who's coaching these guys now Bib Wearing G? He was one of Bobby's boys once, and like you knows that its all begins and ends up front.

Will not surprise me if there isn't an all-conference guy in the group we have, this year. One of best decisions Stitt made after taking the job.

Over the last few years, I was very critical of our DC, offensive play calling, etc. I did so well at it, I got heat from PR and a few others as well. I feel I am pretty even keeled and open minded regarding the GRIZ. I am sure other egrizzers will verify I was critical of a few things and far from being an apologist, sugar coater, etc.

As for this subject, can you or anyone here honestly know what and who national signing day will reveal? Do you or anyone know for fact this staff does not have a backup plan to pursue BCS transfers come this spring and summer? All I posted were things that are possible. Only time will tell what plays out.
