Well the Cats didn't come through for us. Jacks beat the Cats 82-73. Sac State is our only hope now. Of course we have to beat them when the come to Missoula also.

Anyone on this board that actually thought the Cats could win a meaningful game in the month of February has not seen a Mick Durham coached team play in the last 8 years. :-? So far this month we are 1-3, and still have to host Sac. State, and go to EWU :shocked:

I didnt see the game, but Casey is not looked at to score. Essentially the Cats lost this by lack of defense last night, pathetic defense last night. NAU shot 60% from the field.

He sprained his ankle either last 1st half or early 2nd half. He tried to play a few minutes on it, but the ankle couldn't take it.

I don't know if Casey even took a shot.

Not having Durham was huge in my opinion. I know he gets ripped on by some bobcat fans, but based on the 4 times I have seen him against the Griz the kid works his ass off. NAU was getting wide open looks from 3 land. I think Durham could have been a factor. NAU shot lights out but it is a lot easier when no one is guarding you. The cats are not getting much from their seniors.

I think Durham costs the cats more points than he generates. Sure he works his ass off, as he should. And he makes some nice shots, but the rest of the time he is two slow to guard, and turns the ball over way to much.
If the cats don't have someone better, then he should play, otherwise, I think he is and has been a liablility.
But that is my less than knowledgeble opinion.

With all dues respect, I don't think the facts back up your claim. According to offical BSC Stats, Durham is tied for 3rd in the BSC in assists, 5th in the BSC in steals, 14th in the BSC in MADE 3 Pt shots, #1 in the BSC in assist to turnover ratio, 1st in the BSC in FT percentage.

I tend not to hate the Cats as much as everybody else--until game day--but I dont see them as our rivals as much as I see them as our little brother that doesnt get as much as us

thanks backer. i always wonder why casey has the rep of turning it over. aside from the two big ones against you guys, he very rarely turns it over. if he had a little more confidence in his shot this season, he'd be having a hell of a year.

It is too bad he doesn't have the athletic ability of Dissly, combine that with his knowledge of the game, desire, he is NBA bound. Ihate to see athletes like Dissly waste that God given ability

All of us over here are thinking the same thing. I watched Dissly for 4 years in high school (we graduated in the same class) and for these 3 years at MSU and I can't tell you what the hell is going on with him. He scored 8 tonight in a win over Idaho, but I don't know what's up with him lately.

Casey Durham is a hell of a player to watch. you can just flat tell he has the desire to get stuff done and honesty i wish the cats were all made up of players like him
