North Dakota State-Kansas State on TV

I don't think K-State will put 41 points on NDSU. I hope they do, but after watching the Bison manhandle Sam Houston two years in a row, I'm a believer.
I was just going off of what Texas A&M did to SHSU. I do agree with ya tho, NDSU is the real deal. SHSU is beatable, even in the Big Sky. CP AlmosT pulled it off last year. The 2011 Griz would have beat them but had a bad game, plus the kicking game was all funked up compared to what McKnight had been doing every game before SHSU. If the Griz woulda had the game they had in Boz Angeles, I really think they would have won it. But I don't think they coulda beat NDSU.

SHSU was right with NDSU last year until he suffered his ankle sprain (as well as losing their STUD safety to a knee injury). Once I saw that ankle taped up and him limping I knew the game was over. Much easier to play their spread with a QB who can't run (that is 80% of their game). MSU matches up much better with NDSU than it does SHSU (at least last year). I definitely think SHSH is going to miss the All Conf Safety they lost as he was good. They could stack the line 8-9 and go man to man on the outside and are you to beat them. I'm not so sure they can do that this year.

But in case the bracketing doesn't flow in that direction, msu is gonna have to go thru SHSU to get to NDSU. In all fairness, msu had their chance at NDSU but now msu has just pissed them off. And after seeing what SHSU has done to msu in the most recent of seasons, I'd hate to see what a pissed off NDSU would do to msu. I wouldn't be a bit surprised if they kept their starters in and ran the score up.

K-State by 17, but I think the Bison will play them tough for 2 1/2 quarters and surprise the Wildcats fans
I like it!! That would be great if they got a W (unlikely) yes, I just enjoy seeing an FCS team beat an FBS team, anywhere in across the country. The Cal Poly/Wyoming was a great game to watch last season. It's gonna be even better when the Griz get Wyoming next season. I'm not gonna miss the NDSU/KSU game!!

Bison have showed their mettle in past beating up gophers, squeeking by jayhawks. As much as I would like them to pull a big win off in manhattan, I say a thirty some to 10 will be in favor of the ksu cats. Surely ksu knows the m.o. Of bison and will be prepped up.

Its gonna be a tough one for us due to KStates O-line, which according to most prognosticators is not only the best in the Big 12, but maybe the best in the country. That being said I cannot wait to see how we stack up against them! Our QB Jensen needs to have a big game in order for us to have a chance as well, cuz ya know the Wildcats are gonna stack the box and make Jensen beat them with his arm. He has played well in our other FBS matchups, so hopefully this continues, but if our front seven on D is allowing 4-5 yards or more a carry its gonna be a long night for us and not much else will matter. I'm in the group thinking that we will hang with them for 2 or 3 quarters, but then the big O-line and the heat will take its toll on our D-line....I'm thinking like a 31-24, 31-17 type game, unless we turn the ball over a lot then they will get over 40 points most likely, but without TO's or special teams tds I don't see them putting over 40 on us. I do believe we can win, but it will take a stellar performance from everyone and no turn overs.

It will be an interesting game for sure. I think the Bison defense will bend but not break and they will hold K-State under 30 points. The big question is how will NDSU's offense do against the K-State defense. K-State graduated their front 7 from last year though they do get their Safety Ty Zimmerman back. Odds favor the Wildcats winning but I think it will be closer than most think. If NDSU can move the ball on offense and score TDs they could score the upset. Can't wait for Friday night!

Another snoozer from corn country. Folks deserve better than 50 point blowouts on their tv in my opinion.

Uh oh. Grandpas back...
Come on Ray, cut em some slack. This is a small school going up against a big time program. I'm NOT IN ANY MATTER insulting NDSU but this is gonna be a game to watch the Bison bring out the best they have to try to beat a Big 12 school. The Bison are very likely to be The Best in the FCS right now. There isn't many at the FCS level that can even hold a candle to them.

Honorable to go in think they will win. But will be quickly shut down. Ksu by 28+ when they pull the starters. Top players over there and there is no way ndsu will be able to stand 4 quarters with them. ASU surprised everyone with speed, and wide open play. NDSU will not win being ground and pound with play action.

Could very well be.

I hope so, but I think the game will be much closer.

I dunno

2012 NDSU 22 Colorado State 7
2011 NDSU 37 Minnesota 24
2010 NDSU 6 Kansas 3

I know K-State is a much better team than these, but with a new QB, new D front, I dunno

I'd rather watch this game on TV than K-State vs. UMass, if nothing else for the "what if" curiosity

Same way I told my buddy several years ago when we went to see my Bobcats play Texas A&M, he asked what game we should watch while tailgating -- I told him let's be sure to see some of Appalachian State playing Michigan -- after watching us lose to App State the previous year in the playoffs, I wanted to see how they did against mighty Michigan. I told my buddy they won't win, but they will surprise a lot of folks with how good they are on national TV. Loved watching Kirk Herbstreet eating crow that day.

Huh, what did you guys do after the game? What did you have for dinner that night? Was it any good?

I'll bet it's close, teams usually play a little more tight in their opener and KSU doesn't have Colin Klein anymore.
