Griz look tired. And justifiably so....

Lots of shots off the front iron....guys who were assassins against the ‘scats can’t get their shot off...
Coming off 1 day of rest, and Northern Colorado hasn't played since February 16. I don't care about conference standings, no teams should ever face off with that level of disparity in scheduling.

Didn’t TD say the LAST time we played them the same situation occurred?
Last time Montana played Northern Colorado was January 12, when Montana won 88-64. Northern Colorado's previous game was on January 7, while Montana lost a close game to EWU on January 10.

Especially coming off an extremely emotional win against the arch rival where you just pout everything into it. I hope the Griz win tonight if for no other reason than so TD can give a giant middle finger to the f*cked up big sky conference scheduling idiots.
I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if Montana was physically, mentally and emotionally drained after that game with MSU on Saturday.

Ok so not quite...

Griz definitely look flat at times, then they put on a flash. Scary game so far ... could go either way.

FWIW: Good coverage on DirecTV channel 623 ... sorry that the streaming seems to be such crap.

GO GRIZ! :egriz:

TD did allude as much, but the first meeting wasn't quite the large disparity in rest time.

Sloppy play on the Griz..46-43 NCU....um has no pts from bench....very unlike the Griz...on the other hand, Ncu is the worst free throwing team but is hot from there tonight...figures.

Looks like the PSU game. Griz just look tired and Northern Colorado is a good perimeter defending team, but aren't great defensively down low, so when the Griz have Akoh they just eat them up. Not so tonight.

My goodness the Griz need a big man.
This
With no big man as a backstop, you need to cut off the lanes to the basket ... and the Griz are not doing well at that. Need to fix that, or things will not get better. C'mon Griz!

NCU is really showing that the tourney is wide open if MU doesn't have Akoh.
Yep.

But this game is still very much winnable ... if the Griz can just cut down on turnovers and hit their shots.

You were saying??? Chance to tie or take the lead and turned it over. Sloppy.
