no stream of the eagles game?

I've seen where people have had problems with certain webcasts because of the browser they're using, as a possibility.

If it doesn't work on IE, try Chrome. If it doesn't work on Chrome, try Firefox. If it doesn't work on Firefox, try Safari. If it doesn't work there, then consider driving to a bar that will be showing the game. If you can't do that, then you're SOL.

Any ideas if there are plans to rebroadcast later or somehow catch the game later this weekend (like bstv's VOD)? I have to go into work this Saturday and won't have any kind of access so was hoping there might be something other than the game recap/highlights to come home to.

I was under the impression that home games are not broadcast on BSTV, but gogriz.com which is fee based. But I don't follow that closely. :)

No. Unless they're Root games, they're available at bstv.

This is 100% accurate. I hook my computer to the TV and I'm good to go. The picture is a little blurry but that's because I'm drunk.

I've completely given up on even trying to find a stream. Becuase of this, I've also lost interest in the team and the university. Sure, I check the score on Sunday morning, but it certainly isn't the same as a few years back. I had planned on going to the SD game in a few weeks, now that is not likely. Very hard to stay excited about them when you never get to see any games.
I agree. UM is slowly killing the Golden Goose. The old adage of out of sight, out of mind really comes into play here. People on Egriz assume the rest of the country knows what "Roots" is....and suggestions to go to a sports bar are not feasible for many. In fact, it is downright surprising when leaving Montana to discover how many people don't drink or even feel comfortable going to bars. Oh, well...there are some good games on Saturday...

I live out of state and have been able to watch every game the last two years. Get off your couch and quit complaining. If you are too cheap to pay for cable that is your fault not UM's.

my, aren't you a stud. until this year i watched every game for... i don't know, 14 years(?). not this year, though - not everyone can afford to blow $100+ bucks a month plus hook-up fees plus whatever other hassle is involved hooking up directtv just to watch four-five griz games. or, in my case, just don't think it is a good value, since tv is for losers like 1234. also, i don't live in a place where an bars are likely to put on a football game between two obscure lower division football teams, so i'll just have to do something else with my time. it's ok, though, as it makes me less likely to donate to um (the out of sight, out of mind comment was right on), so i 'save' even more money.

I hear the ESPN app works decent to keep up with games. :thumb:

You can get a DirecTV package that has Root for $45 month with no set up fees. You can get Comcast up to 25Mbps + Digital Starter Package (w/Root) for $60 a month. That's internet + TV. Yes I know there are fees and prices will go up when promotional prices end and what not. But neither of those options will go above $100.

Look, if you are so mad at UM for getting onto a national network that has over 8 million subscribers, which increases exposure, for 3-4 games a year, that you will consider not donating money (from the sounds of your financial situation I'm guessing that is an empty threat), well then I don't know what to tell you.

Get a SlingBox and hook it up at a friend's house who has Root.

At our house we dumped satellite/cable because it was a waste of money no matter what package we purchased. (Same show with the same episode on 3 - 5 channels at the same time is an example of waste). There are more people every day tossing their subscription Television.

If UM had any brains they would have picked a company that could broadcast AND stream the games. A fee for each stream or season pass could have covered the costs and have competent announcers and camera work . This way every class of fan every where would have access to the games.

Instead they break up the games and sell them to different companies on mainly regional sports networks and what's left gets BigSky TV which is mostly noted for sticking some freshman on top of the press box with one camera.

There is a lot of truth the out site out of mind comment with Griz Football here at Octiparan Manor. At times I wonder if it is a deliberate action to prevent or make nigh impossible for fans to watch a game.

Just to short circuit any "not a real fan" comments. I used to walk to Dornblaser from campus to support the team during those awful years in late 70's and early 80's.

The choice of who carries the games is not 100% up to UM. The Big Sky Conference is who inked the deal with Root Sports. If the local stations had it their way, they'd still be covering 100% of the games, with streaming. Root Sports streaming the games should have been negotiated into the contract with the conference. When there is a game not carried by Root, a local station does pick it up, but it'll be streamed on bigskytv. KPAX used to have the sort of deal you are wishing for. They carried all the games and streamed the games through their website.

I bet that was a fun walk from campus in the fall. My first couple Griz games were in Dormblaser and was impressed by the crowd back then. Hope you guys can catch this game cuz it's gonna be a classic one. Go Griz!

It was your choice to leave the state, and it's also your choice whether or not you're going to put in a little effort to watching the game. Griz football isn't in any danger dying out because a few whiners want everything handed to them on a silver platter.

For those of you who are upset because ROOT sports doesn't have a streaming option for the game, maybe try contacting them and suggesting they provide that option.

Guess I am stuck watching Gamecast, as I stream a couple other games, unless some fan wants to bring a camera and stream to ustream.tv for all of us who can't attend. I stream pool matches with an iPad all the time.

Off topic but I see the Cal Poly-NAU game is going to be on Big Sky TV tomorrow night, that should be a good game if they both show up.

You can watch EIU vs Tennessee State at 3 http://www.ovcdigitalnetwork.com/showcase/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
