No one knows where people are getting infected

You can whine all you want, but the worst case scenario for the actual Democrats is Sleepy China taking office. Their Civil War is already brewing and about to explode. If he doesn't go along with the Squad's requirements, they will burn down people that think like him in the form of primaries in 2022.

The old Democrat party, the Blue Dogs, doesn't exist. Sure, they have some members, 15 or so, but they aren't a force at all. Biden is too weak to resist the destruction of the party, and it will all play out for everybody to see, and of course you know who will be tweeting a play by play for 4 years.

The economy will die, jobs will go away to Biden's buddies in China, and people will see the difference, even the hardcore Dem voters that never watched anything besides the Fake News... What happened? is what they will say.

The REAL FUN starts in 2024, when Ocasio Dipshit is old enough to run for President... Talk about the culmination of a Shit show, and the end of your party!

"Ask not what you can do for your country, ask how you can trade favors with the Ukraine and China"
Wait, Sleepy Joe is just as tough as Jimmy Carter isn't he?

I have heard that Carter was a horrible President and he set in motion the destruction of the party, but I never investigated it.

I do have an older glass Mrs. Butterworth’s bottle that I refill and still use. Are you telling me I should get rid of it.

I didn't spout off about the election process. You did. Support what you said, or shut up. You are lazy.

I won't waste all my valuable time, but here is Washington State Elections 101 guide. You should check out the section on Accountability.

https://www.sos.wa.gov/_assets/elections/e101%20complete%20notebook.pdf

That's a start, WA isn't Kentucky.

Kentucky appears not to audit voting machines.

"Hand count paper ballots, but many counties use paperless machines". Samp.e size of paper ballots: "3% to 5%"

Looks like your original audit statement was incorrect.

Took me 10 seconds to find this.

If AOC promises to dump them out, she will get my vote. Then, my life still won’t change in any way, but I’ll get to see ‘em.

Well, if I was going to waste a vote, it would have to be much better than that... Like Gina Gershon mixed with Nicolette Scorsese. (Woman of Clark Griswold's dreams, Christmas Vacation)

Nope, you didn't site the audit provision. That's 117.383, which is what I cited. Recall that you referred to audits in your earlier post.

383 is the automatic audit provision, which includes: "(8) As part of the official canvass, provide for a manual recount of randomly selected precincts representing three percent (3%) to five percent (5%) of the total ballots cast in each election;", as I cited.

You cited 117.305. That is the recanvass provision. That must be requested by a candidate or initiated by election officials if they find problems. That wasn't done in Kentucky for the possible;e glitch cited from the CNN coverage.

In any event, both provisions show that the assertion in your initial post was wrong.

So we have established that Kentucky does audits, recanvas, and recounts.

I also see that race happened over a year ago and the person ahead in that video won by just over 5,000 votes. The loser conceded after the requested recanvas was done. Doesn't sound like the smoking gun it was meant to be.

No, the election was a few weeks ago. There was no recanvas or recount.

Another big overreaction that I forgot to list in post a day or so ago.

The US and world generally set the quarantine period at 14 days. Way too long, as I said previously. Many people wouldn't do that, or even come close to doing that. Good research supported a shorter period of time.

"People with Covid-19 ... are most infectious about two days before symptoms begin and for five days afterward, according to a new analysis of previous research.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention [now] recommends that infected people isolate for a minimum of 10 days from the beginning of their illness. The agency is considering shortening the recommended isolation period and may issue new guidelines as early as next week, according to two federal officials with knowledge of the discussions.

In September, France dropped its required period of isolation to seven days from 14 days, and Germany is considering shortening it to five days. (Isolation refers to people who are ill; quarantine refers to people who have been exposed to the virus and may become ill.)

Setting the isolation period at five days is likely to be much more palatable and may encourage more infected people to comply...."

.

Wait, why didn’t you tell us about this last winter, were you afraid it would cause a panic? How did you know this before Fauci? Solid pandemic policy right there people. You should give up accounting and go work for the CDC or something, I’m serious.

You are correct. My bad, twice. And good catch on the video thing. I'm as dumb as Box.

I did bring this up months ago. Not last winter.

This is the article I linked. https://www.npr.org/sections/health-shots/2020/04/01/824903684/the-science-behind-a-14-day-quarantine-after-possible-covid-19-exposure

"For the virus that causes COVID-19 — its official name is SARS-CoV-2 — researchers have found that the typical incubation period is about five days. About 97% of the people who get infected and develop symptoms will do so within 11 to 12 days, and about 99% will within 14 days."

This quote is from the study linked in the article:

"The median incubation period was estimated to be 5.1 days (95% CI, 4.5 to 5.8 days), and 97.5% of those who develop symptoms will do so within 11.5 days (CI, 8.2 to 15.6 days) of infection. These estimates imply that, under conservative assumptions, 101 out of every 10 000 cases (99th percentile, 482) will develop symptoms after 14 days of active monitoring or quarantine."

I think this study was done in March. One of these studies was from Johns Hopkins.

Have you?

I almost always research before I make posts like this. I also read, watch or listen to articles and videos before I respond. You haven't and didn't in this thread. That's why I am right and you are wrong in this discussion. You sometimes have decent information, but I didn't realize you were so lazy.
Lucy...........somebody has some splaining to do. Ha ha, 2019 Kentucky gubernatorial election is not really relevant to the thread, now is it, yes?

No, Box rules this thread. Snap he spanked player representative. Time for the geez to leave the heavy lifting to the young guns we know how to research and use the internet.

Hey, I linked the article that showed I blew this. Just made a mistake. However, I was still correct on the audit question, which was the bigger discussion.
