No Missoula hotel for NDSU

Careful kids. It's not clear to me that UM didn't make a mistake in this mess. There are fiduciary responsibilities of the host institution. I have no idea but you guys may be advised to wait for a bit before poking fun at NDSU for screwing up.

Skyline sports is reporting on Twitter that rooms were found in the Zoo. They are trying to confirm.

I'm not sure "fiduciary" means what you think it means.
Also, I will never wait to poke fun at UNDSU.

100 people that wanted to get a block of rooms together, or 100 people that each wanted to get their own blocks of rooms. If it is the later, than there will be way too many Bison fans with tickets for my liking. Of course, I would not have as big of problem with it if I was going to the game.

Saw on Bisonville recently the number 5000 being thrown around. Where they came up with that figure I haven't a clue. They do travel well.

No shit. Also I was thinking that if weird shit happens and they break down... griz fans better be careful what they wish for because they are still playing that game even if NDSU doesn't show up until 8:00 pm, lol

That would be absolutely awesome! 8:00 p.m. kickoff!

It may be down in the list a little, but eventually you will see a definition that involves NDSU 'trusting' UM to get some shit done. It's possible UM made some mistakes. I'll also point out that getting excited about an opponent needing to commute from Polson doesn't seem very 'classy'. It's also possible I don't know what classy means. It seems to be oddly defined over here....

At least the Griz actually have the balls to play them and not buy it out.

You have to understand the source. These are fans of a program that dodged UNDSU at all costs. They think we want to avoid playing them altogether, rather than have them maybe suffer an inconvenience.

Other than the time dUMb bought out an NDSU game. Funny how history is sometimes. I think that was around the time that a DII NDSU came into WaGr and kicked your ass. It didn't look very cold that day tho.

Now it's apparent that you don't know the difference between someone "trusting" someone, and someone agreeing to be a "trustee." This round is over. You lost.

Montana has never bought out NDSU. Keep digging, you'll need a bigger shovel for that hole. :thumb:

Your fucking dumb ass not being able to figure out the quote function aside, at least our coach and AD didn't piss down their legs when faced with a UNDSU matchup. Cats can't win. Sorry.

Well, here's why this whole story has seemed weird, and a bit unlikely to us. "Back in the day" when we had season tickets and drove up for every game, we almost always stayed at Ruby's. For much of that time, Ruby's had a contract -- arranged with UM as we understood it -- to provide a block of rooms for the visiting team and coaches. (Fans were on their own.) Did we misunderstand? Or does such an arrangement no longer apply?

Just wondering.

Yeah, that still wouldn't make UM have a fiduciary duty to the visiting team.
