NIL era

Very lazy summary - as you know. I know you are trying hard to make a point. I dont think it lands like you want. Teammates matter - their perspective is the context and nuance you miss - again, as you know. You've told me before I was far better than something I posted...I appreciated the feedback.
Here, there is no question you are better than the summary above.

Also, I am not on a page. I am on an island enjoying my perspective on this.
That's fair. As you said, teammates matter. If what you said about what this UNLV kid's teammates posted ("About time", etc.) is true, it would seem that they were on board with the move. Just seems to me that he was in a situation he didn't like and exercised his right to move on. 🤷‍♂️

They posted "about time"...the back up was starting.

And, yes he exercised his right.

Score now Soldier 10- HHB10 heading to double OT...
What are the OT rules in Pissin' Matches? I'm 17-2-5 in them, but never had one go into OT because they didn't have OT in those days. I'm guessing it's the ol' Piss-n-Hope where they both stand with their backs against the wall opposite the urinals in a train station restroom, and the first one to hit porcelain wins? If a hobo gets in the way of the stream, you replay the down.

I say we skip OT and just see who has the most piss down their leg to determine the loser.

Sac St just secured $35 million of NIL money in 24 hours
Interesting. First I’m assuming that is commitments and not money in the bank. Seems odd they would go after NIL commitment first as opposed to securing funds for their new proposed football or basketball stadiums.

Whoever melts more ice in the Bodega urinal wins!

Bowl game and Natty are not the same.

This is self evident. Don't be obtuse.
Neither are applicable to Sluka leaving during season because UNLV wouldn’t live up to what attracted Sluka to UNLV. If one has a choice, and Slika does, why would he stay. He owes nothing to UNLV. They decided to stiff him.

You are trying to say he let down his teammates. They don’t seem to care.

I care more about honestly in life, football and business. UNLV need t honest. Don’t fulfill their promises.

I would love to see some small FBS program secure a crap ton of NIL money and effectively buy themselves a championship against the big-time programs. I'm curious how quickly they'd move to implement restrictions if that were to happen.

I don't believe that SS "raised" $35 million.

Exactly my point. How many times has there been a verbal commitment or pledge that people have backed out of? Having money in the bank is different than IOU’s from the business community in a market that size. How many people would have said yes if they weren’t pushing for the PAC invite. How many of those businesses actually think an invite is a real likelihood? Seems more like offers based on contingency. If they cared about the program that money would be going to work right now and not only if they make the jump to the PAC
