Night Games at WGS

What an epic night of football we had against Ferris State. The temp after halftime was perfect and the atmosphere was almost magical. Attendance set a new all time record of just short of 27,000.
The question for Griz administrators remains, why in the world would our early home September non conference games not all be night games going forward? It is is pretty obvious that the fans turn out better for them.

Agreed. Was kind of weird seeing the sun still up at kickoff for a "blackout" game, but the atmosphere and energy came through, even on my little iPad...

I had a great time, there’s been some pouty poopy pants in here but this was a great atmosphere for a game.

It would have helped if kickoff was at 7:00 PM vs 6:00 PM for the daylight since sunset was at 7:30, but overall, night games in WA-Griz are on a whole other level.
