Nick Sabin Frustrated with Alabama fans for leaving early during Alabama's 52-0 win over Arkansas. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=712564788762366&set=a.166942843324566.37299.147262525292598&type=1&theater" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Now wait, don't the Alabama fans have a god-given right to leave the stadium whenever they want?

Ugh I hate Saban. His arrogance is pathetic. Like he is the only guy at the game who has a job? Incredibly disrespectful to people who spend their hard earned $ to go to these games and donate to his program while he grumpily sits in his mansion with millions in the bank. Buying tickets give fans the right to come and go as they please.

Saban is the best. Guy is amusing as hell. This was a terrific article on him: http://www.gq.com/entertainment/sports/201309/coach-nick-saban-alabama-maniac?mbid=gqpr" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

It's because the Possum Shak has happy hour starting at 6 and there's only so many 5-gallon buckets to sit on.

Stay in tune with your people more Nick.

Great article, I definitely know where you're coming from saying he's amusing because I love Bill Belichick, and find him hilarious. Maybe it's because Saban is a college coach that makes his attitude get to me. All the more strange, Saban is a Belichick disciple so maybe I just hate him for his great head of hair and collection of straw hats. :|

Alabama fans are easily the most arrogant fans I have ever met. As far as most of them r concerned there is no football outside the SEC, including the NFL, and Alabama is king of the SEC. How quickly they forget just five years ago they were not even a bowl team. I don't know how many times I've explained to them how they don't deserve all them championships and it don't phase em. Any body who says Griz fans are arrogant, spend a week in Alabama and try to talk to them how good a team Oregon is and u'll want to just smack somebody. I can't wait tell Saban goes to Texas!

Pretty ignorant quote. What Saban might not realize is that most of those fans work hard at their own jobs and pay good money for those tickets that help pay for his large salary. If it isn't for those fans that seem to peeve him, he's living in a much smaller house and is paying for his own golf...

Saban is on the money. Cracks me up fans are offended by this, saying they pay for tickets so they have the right to do whatever they want. Totally true, but those same fans think that ticket entitles them to wins, a certain type of play calling, access to the players, ect.. ect. ect. UHHH WRONG!! If you have the right to leave early, you're team has every right to run whatever plays they want, play whatever defense they want, and lose games too. Bottom line, the team isn't entitled to have a certain amount or type of support, but the fans aren't entitled to a certain type of team either.

The subject wasn't about the fans, it was about Saban. Bama fans do have entitlement issues, but they paid for their tickets and they can do what they want with them... If they want to drink beer and party in the parking lot, Saban shouldn't get his gold laced panties in a wad over it. I find it funny that the dude is whining about his job and even funnier that he acts as if fans don't "put in the work". They work all week so that they can afford the tickets and pay this whiner's salary.

It's the tv and bowl game (again tv) revenue that allow Bama to pay him the big bucks. It's not the extra fans and game tickets.

Agreed. Some fans may pay big bucks for their budget, but it's silly to think that payment of $50 or $100 a ticket allows you to have some say in the program.

no fans = no tv revenue. ESPN isn't going to make that deal with the SEC or respective bowl unless fans are generating ratings and revenue. It's an ignorant comment to say that he has to work so hard and fans don't do anything but drink beer and tailgate... He has a job and they have theirs. Also, nobody said ticked holders should be entitled to have a say in the program.
