FYI, Nick plays for the Green Bay Packers a professional NFL team not a college team and definitely not the Griz.

I agree, this forum has way to many topics that are in no way Griz football related. It should be moved.

This thread won't get moved because one of the mods is a big Green bay fan so it's OK to break the rules on here. If you are a mod you basically have carte blanche to do what ever you want.

Alpha has a point. This has nothing to do with FCS or Griz football. Interesting when and for whom the Mods bend the rules. Certainly there are no personal feelings or bias involved in these decisions by ever vigilant forum cops.

I'm the one that posted the thread and I don't care if it gets moved. It's my bad for putting here in the first place. I just figured that the topic would be of interest to all the football fans that frequent this thread. I didn't even think that it might be beyond the bounds of Griz football and FCS. Sorry.

You're apology is unnecessary, IMHO. I do not live in Missoula, so I had no opportunity to see the "visiting celebrity." Still, I think your post was entirely appropriate to alert FOOTBALL fans to this event. After all, he was IN MISSOULA and had a Montana connection, however indirect. You were doing those dweebs a favor, and caught a lot of totally-off-base grief. Some readers, at least, clearly appreciated your heads-up. Go with that and ignore the bozos.
