Nick Barnett - Packers Starting MLB

Yeah he was, I've got a picture of him, my son, and me. Got him to sign a football for my son too. Nice guy, it was fun & worth the wait!
 
My dad and I are big Packers fans. I told him about this but he was too busy.

I've got a #9 Jim McMahon jersey from when he played with the Pack. He married my grandpa's niece so he gave my parents the jersey at the wedding reception to give to me. I was too young to go at that time.

Both sides of my parents family grew up Pack fans, so I'm just carrying on the legacy!

Whats funny was that both my dad and I thought Barnett was a little smaller in person than we expected, he's this big menacing dude on the field, but in person he's really friendly and not nearly as big of a guy as I had envisioned he would.

The line was huge too, I didn't know there were that many Pack fans in Missoula. Nick was signing autographs outside of the UAS store, right at the main entrance, the line stretched down to the clock and then right all the way back to where the Lenscrafters store was.
 
FYI, Nick plays for the Green Bay Packers a professional NFL team not a college team and definitely not the Griz.

Yet another thread that should be moved to either the Sports room or Random isht.
 
Alpha has a point. This has nothing to do with FCS or Griz football. Interesting when and for whom the Mods bend the rules. Certainly there are no personal feelings or bias involved in these decisions by ever vigilant forum cops.
 
OK let's play 5 degrees here, Nick Barnett plays for the packers. Joey Thomas was drafted by the Packers a few years back. Joey Thomas played ball for MSU. The Grizzlies trounce MSU regularly. See? This is completely a relevant Grizzly Football thread...

priceless 2506. Only a true cat could talk smack about beating thier "rival" three times in the last quarter century.

While we are on a thread about linebackers, you should have mentioned the cats storied history of linebackers and how Timmer chose the Griz for playing time.

That is not the point. You don't come into a thread and ridicule people for the way things are run. Like Titleist said, if you have a problem, send a mod a pm. Don't call them out every single time you want to bitch and moan about something. You are wasting space, and people don't want to read garbage.

I agree, this forum has way to many topics that are in no way Griz football related. It should be moved.
