NFL Griz on tonight

Was Jan Stenerud the guy that won the "56 national championship" for the kittens with the game winning kick

Wasn't Jan (Stenerud, not Brady) the kicker with the awesome muffed kick turned pathetic pass attempt that slipped out of his hand & rolled backwards in the Superbowl guy?

No duh. My point was that anyone who is a fan of football played in Montana should be a fan of Jan Stenerud, regardless of where he played. Great kicker, great story, great for the entire state.

I'll pull for a former BSC player in the NFL anyday...unless they play for Denver or New England. But that's just the Raiders fan in me :D

I don't ohhh and ahhh over Snyder or Carpenter but would easily take them over Stenerud if only by stats not to mention leg strength
