Next up at Weber 2/27

We will start 1 senior tonight and Weber will start 0. (It would have been 1 for them also if Bolomboy played.) It sure sets up a rivalry for the next few years.

I think the Big Sky will be better next year as there will be a lot of very young teams in the conference.

Speaking of Rahe, my wife and I were watching the game last night on Big Sky TV. At halftime we switched over to the Weber/MSU game, which had a minute or two to go. I went to do a chore during their halftime show, but my wife said they did an interview with Rahe and he attributed his success as a coach to Stew Morrill. For some reason I didn't know that Rahe was an assistant to Morrill at both Colorado State and Utah State.

So Rahe, ironically, is, in a way, a byproduct of the Montana coaching tree.

He was a Morrill assistant for 13 seasons. Everything Rahe does is a reflection of Morrill, sometimes to his detriment.
 
the only positive regarding the new Reno format is Weber has no insentive to bring back bloom boy until Reno. 4th place is all u are playing for in the reg season. Any other yr and Weber would desperately need bolomboy as soon as possible with hosting on the line tonight.

It's beyond lame Weber won't go to Missoula and ever more lame the one game we do play and so late in the year between to tied teams st 13-2 really isn't very significant at all.

How true. It almost seems that conference officials did their most careful planning to ensure that no game or scenario during conference play would have any significance.
