We needed 1 more 'Down the pickle barrel'. I hope Mick doesn't call the cbi or cit game, maybe just take one in. Grizzly Legend, I will remember listening to tonights game for as long as my memory holds.

I wouldnt be 100% sure we wont make NIT cause we just might.
no chance griz get (or deserve) an Nit bid. Congrats to Weber, get some money for the fab 12.

Second game in a row that Weber forced the Griz out of their game. Hats off to the Wildcats, go get 'em in the tourney!

What game did Weber force the Griz out of? Don't understand your comment.

I think you are probably right but since I am not making decsions Wont say for sure until I see the bracket

damn it..but great game. Griz will not make the NIT..bubble is too big this year..maybe another however..weber will be a 15 and play Oregon in Spokane..and OSU will get in the big show and should, great RPI and tough out of conf schedule...

Man - I was really hoping that Mick would have one more big dance game to call. Alas, not meant to be. It was nice to see the zebras swallow the whistle most of the game. I'd rather see that than the 50 foul whistle-fest.

Hats off to Weber what a great great basketball game even though the outcome wasn't in our favor. Good luck Weber, make some noise in the dance!
Could anyone hear Mick's post game coach interview. The braniacs at Learfield/KGVO were blasting music instead and I believe Mick's last interview was zapped in the process. Not the first time this is happened but a shame that it was Mick's last interview.

Did you REALLY expect they'd really give Mick the opportunity to DO THEM in public? F*CK Learfield!

OSU is now being projected to be in the NCAA after good showing against Cal
They shouldn't...
Well if OSU makes the tourney than you should write to the NCAA and let them know where they went wrong
Not likely to happen. Oregon State had only 17 regular season wins, when you discount their opening game against NAIA Northwest Christian. Yes, after that they had a monster strength of schedule ... but going 1-1 in the post-season tournament does not make up for so few wins and only a .500 record in conference. Strong NIT probability, I would assume.
FWIW, I have a "formula" I've used for over a decade to pick who gets bids before the selection show. I've never missed more than 2, and only 1 the last two years. OSU could be one of those exceptions, but I doubt it. It's called a"zero-sum game" and there are just too many teams with good RPI and SOS numbers who have won way more games than the Beavs.

You could be right. All of projection stuff are guesses when it comes to "bubble teams" but OSU has moved from ESPN first 4 out to being in. Guess we will see tomorrow

Sorry, that was a poorly worded post. Weber held the Griz to under 60 points in both meetings this year. Griz have been best when they score 75 + points. Weber did a good job in both games of holding the Griz offense under their scoring average.

Yup, I agree. Weber played well in both games. I think both teams scored 21 points in the second half tonight, but maybe I'm slightly off.

Just a little recognition for WW tonight. He played well and fought hard in a game that mattered. Really good to see. Next year should b interesting with the new guards coming in and Oguine and WW next year. I think we have to find a non guard spot for Morehead or play 3 guard offense.

Welp, couldn't watch the game live and ESPN fucked me on the replay. Doesn't seem to matter which device I try and watch on but, at random, the game will fucking skip around on me and it went from the beginning few minutes, to just over half time, back to the beginning, then to the end. At least I didn't have to get too high or low.

I'm assuming it was a good game. Not going to try and watch it again. Hope Weber gets a good matchup. I'm usually pretty dire about the Big Sky's seeding but I actually think Weber may draw a 14 or 13. At any rate, I don't think they get a 16. Happy for Bolomboy but really bummed we couldn't get Martin into the dance. He really deserved it.

WW played well as he usually does, but his shooting percentage wasn't great. The guard deserving recognition tonight was Dunn. The best game I've seen him play this year.

Congrats Weber, fun game to watch...I still can't believe we didn't foul them with seventeen seconds or so left. How does that not happen?

Game play announcers were stunned.

Yep, he had a very good game. The announcers at one time were talking about how a player like him can often cause a team to go with a more gimmick defense like a box and 1. Wish during one of those last possessions we had gotten the ball back to Wright when the shot clock was running down after the pick and roll didn't work out too well. Great defense by Weber during those possessions though too, so hats off to them for a terrific game.

Wasn't sure if this was posted or not yet, but here was the All Tournament team:

Victor Sanders, So., G, Idaho
Quinton Hooker, Jr., G, North Dakota
Walter Wright, Jr., G, Montana
Martin Breunig, Sr., F, Montana
Joel Bolomboy, Sr. F, Weber State
Jeremy Senglin, Jr., G, Weber State (MVP)

Looks pretty much like I expected it would after the game. Good to see Wright and Breunig on the all tournament team as they both definitely deserved it.

Best of luck Mick. I watched the ESPN broadcast and listened to him, and I thought he did a great job on the PBP, no complaints with anything he had to say. As much as I love hearing him, it seems like a stretch that one guy can carry an entire broadcast himself. Is it Leerfield cheaping out or Mick's preference? Don't have much history of listening to basketball on the radio, but can't believe he wouldn't have benefited from a partner to add analysis & insights.
