The last two minutes...................well, it will be interesting to see who they play in the NIT..Oregon State?
What makes you think they will be in the NIT? Also, I doubt there were 800 fans there tonight. Easily, the crappiest attendance I saw in any of the tournament games I witnessed on TV today. Clearly, the folks in Reno have no interest in going to Big Sky Tournament games. Perhaps this aspect should have been considered before Reno made a bid to host the tournement.

Wrong. Listen i am not going to argue the crowd thing again but they purposely took a high canera angle from behind the hoop durng a timeout to not shownthe crowd

I do think UM will be in the NIT because of Breunig, the schedule, tough losses, albeit, 4 were losses to pretty bad teams, and the parity across the board beyond the top 30 or so. As for the Reno tourney, it was the first and from the quality of games played on neutral floors, I hope it won't be the last. I don't go to games or watch them for the crowds. Eventually, now that people know the "drill" they can plan, accordingly. I thought the people in Reno did ok for a first effort. I'm just disappointed that the Griz didn't play as well as they can in the final minutes.

From the numbers of upsets in the conference tourneys, I think Weber will be a 14...but the problem is, any one of the top 16 can win the whole thing. Great year for competitive college ball.

Its not really about you or what you go to games for. Its about what is best for the conference and the kids on the floor. I hope the powers that be ask the kids their opinion on Reno over these three years. If they say they love it and want to stay then I am all for it as long as it is monetarily feasible for the conference. The crowds have been poor which I think would make it a lesser experience for the kids and not ideal for the confernce monetarily. In the end those things are what matter

Man - I was really hoping that Mick would have one more big dance game to call. Alas, not meant to be. It was nice to see the zebras swallow the whistle most of the game. I'd rather see that than the 50 foul whistle-fest.

Hats off to Weber what a great great basketball game even though the outcome wasn't in our favor. Weber had so many close escapes this tourney (counting this one), it's tough to turn the tide of that "destiny" feeling. Congrats to coach Rahe for finally getting a W against the Griz in the tourney. Good luck Weber, make some noise in the dance!

Griz were 0-4 and 2-13 late in game. Weber was 1-6 and 2-10. Game ended up 43% to 48%.

Turnovers were 7 - 13.

Assists were 9 - 19.

Not a good 35 or 40 secs at the end. In retrospect, Wright should have one of those 2 open jumper opportunities.

Dunn was the one that took the jumper a little over 1 minute left. Wright's only shot in the last 3+ minutes of the game was the last second desperation 3 with Bolomboy in his face.

Last 2:20 for the Griz on Offense:
UM MISSED FT BY #20 KRSLOVIC 02:16
UM MISSED 3PTR BY #01 DUNN 01:41
UM MISSED JUMPER BY #01 DUNN 01:10
UM MISSED 3PTR BY #10 OGUINE 00:24
UM MISSED 3PTR BY #05 WRIGHT 00:01

Rough stretch there, missed front end of a 1 and 1, a couple rough sessions in a row on offense, and especially that last one where we went into a bit of a panic mode once the pick and roll didn't result in a good shot.

Tough loss for sure but Weber played great defense. Hell of a game to watch too!

Well, shoot. Hats off to Weber State. Congrats to the Wildcats and good luck in the NCAA tournament. If there's any program that has earned a lot of respect from Grizzly fans, it's Weber simply because they care like Montana does about being a good program.

Excellent season, Griz! Work hard in the offseason and get it back next year!

Go Griz!!
:thumb: Congrats to Weber! They should get higher than a 16 seed do to the number of tournament upsets.
We should get another tournament bid! GO GRIZ!

We needed 1 more 'Down the pickle barrel'. I hope Mick doesn't call the cbi or cit game, maybe just take one in. Grizzly Legend, I will remember listening to tonights game for as long as my memory holds.

Could anyone hear Mick's post game coach interview. The braniacs at Learfield/KGVO were blasting music instead and I believe Mick's last interview was zapped in the process. Not the first time this is happened but a shame that it was Mick's last interview.

Weber will likely get a 15 seed. They could give a 2 seed some trouble too depending on who they draw. If Senglin is shooting lights out and Bolomboy has a good game ya never know, could be a close game.

Very doubtful the Griz end up in the NIT unfortunately. Probably one of the other two tournaments. Oregon State's RPI is going to be around 30-35 probably and with around the 12th toughest SOS in the country, so they'll likely be an NCAA tournament team. Lunardi seems to think so at least. Colorado State last year though got snubbed with a top 30 RPI last year, so who knows.
