I like Oguine but Wright is the guy that can get Bolomboy in foul trouble early. The way he slashes and finds the lane is really something to behold and he is fast. If UM can play like they did yesterday in the second half of the first half, this could be a great show! I think the key is stopping Weber's 3 pt shooters, and UM not depending upon the 3...citay said:mtgrizrule said:This game will come down to whoever shoots FT's better. I fully expect the referees to take control early and often in this, due to what happened the last meeting between the 2 teams. With that said, I'd prefer officiating let them play, and only whistle surefire fouls. Breunig and Bolomboy are a wash. It comes down to guard play. Who will shoot the 3 ball better and attack the rim?
I expect the GRIZ to use Krslovic, Breunig, Boehning, and DeJong on Bolomboy and play him extremely physical. Weber State will likely use multiple players on Breunig as well.
What a great a matchup. No predicting from me on this one. I hate to jinx things.
I agree. Breunig has to be careful; no cheap fouls. A key matchup: Oguine v. Senglin. Again, no cheap fouls. Too: Somebody other than Breunig has to have a big game. Like Moorehead last night--found money. (My bet: Gfeller. He's due for a big game.) Boehning and DeJong: Time to play like sophomores. Weber wins, they're a 15 seed; we win, a 16. Weber wins, our consolation: Great days ahead for this program. We win: Elation!
