Okay, I will try to get thread back on track. Watched Isner, Murray, Collins, Emma Rac, Sock at Stadium 1 at Indian Wells. Great and fun event and venue. Mahones was around. Saw some Missoula people, big Griz fans. Temp in mid 70s.

The only thing I understood from this post is you ran into some Griz fans at some event where the weather was warmer then most places. I’ll have to look up what Indian Wells is now.

Ahhh tennis. Speaking of tennis, the Griz mens team just swept EWooo. Playing decently for being in a true rebuilding year. I think this still keeps the thread derailed from spring ball though.

I can't speak for anyone else, but I certainly enjoy reading all the football talk, but seldom have anything intelligent to add, so don't comment. I don't however, enjoy the football threads constantly getting derailed and into personal bickering. Just my take I'm sure, but for what it's worth, that's it.

Fine, I'll get it back on track for a real spring football conversation:

I hope that the Griz will be good. It sounds like there has been good and not so good things in the spring. So they could be not as good. I hope we will do good at the run and the pass. We need to block the guys so our guys can run and pass. I also hope that the D will be good. We should try to catch the other team's pass more and try to stuff them when they try to run. If we can kick and punt good, I think we will be real good. It will all be on how good they play in the fall. What do you hope the Griz will be good at in the fall? I will go first: Football.

I can't speak for anyone else, but I certainly enjoy reading all the football talk, but seldom have anything intelligent to add, so don't comment. I don't however, enjoy the football threads constantly getting derailed and into personal bickering. Just my take I'm sure, but for what it's worth, that's it.

I can appreciate that and I think the same goes for a lot of people. The nature of 90% of threads though is after so many posts, the subject has been exhausted and other sub topics emerge. Now the majority of those become bickering posts but sometimes they’re positive also like discussions on cool cars, golf tournaments, or sports activities posters still engage in. When posts are made like Dillons, it’s obvious they don’t understand this and they’re expectations are that a post just goes on eternally on one subject or die the moment it’s exhausted with zero extracurricular posts added to it. That’s just not how fan forums work. To complain about thread’s changing directions is like complaining that the tide changes direction. It’s futile and naive.
