I don’t hear a lot of people mentioning Trevin Gradney. I thought he did a good job backing up Ford and showed some promising stuff. I would expect him and Walker to be the starting tandem.

I agree with you especially after how much he shined on special teams last year and the year prior. He is always making big plays and I think it’s finally his turn.

Gubner is the D-line. Without his presence on the field, our defense is very porous...

I was meaning to suggest that the d-line coach step in for Gubner. Must have been a worse joke than I thought.

I got it. Thought it was good. Have we looked into how much eligibility he has left😁?

He and I both have our Covid year. I am now a nose tackle and not corner.

We just have to shave about two or three seconds off that 40 time and you'll be right back as a DB. :thumb:

When friends ask my 40 time now, I say I don’t know because I can only do 10 yards.

I got it. Wish things like that could happen at times...

"Mainly because of a new coordinator who will presumably run his own favorite schemes, while adapting them to the personnel, whom he already knows."

The opposite of the Timm Rosenbach story in a nutshell, IMO. Now, "Sr. Offensive Analyst." Analyze that one, Timm.

Good summary, hoops.

10 more than I can do.

Played cart-path-only golf Saturday and it damn near killed me.

😂. I still play softball but if I hit a double I’m in serious trouble by the time I get to 2nd base.

So you’re the Mark Grace of slow pitch? It’s been said he turned more triples into doubles than any player in baseball…

😂100%. I still got the speed to hit plenty of triples and doubles but I ain’t got the gas no more.

At least you can hit the ball. I stepped into the 70mph stall at the local batting cage last Friday, and the results are not for publication. I blame it on using my daughter’s 30” drop 13 softball bat, but that’s just to help me cope. Got to see a random hardo break his wooden bat, though. So it was worth it.

I haven't tried hitting a fastball in over 20 years.
I used to be damn good. I'm probably terrible now.

About 8 years ago I played in a city baseball league here in Huntsville. It was the first time I’d seen a live fastball in 20 years. Most the pitchers threw about 80-85 but there was one guy who had played double A ball for a year that could throw in the 90’s but had little control. I started the year 0-15 before I got my first hit, a gapper between left and center. Was one of the sweetest feelings in my life😂. I finished the year 4-22 getting three more hits in my next six at bats. Unfortunately their team never joined the league again after that so I didn’t get a chance to continue. Now softball’s all I got but it’s more then enough.

Same. Spoiler alert: If you are anything like me, you are literally terrible now. I don't think I could make a local little league team.
