He had a preferred walk-on offer from Montana State.

Great read. His dad, Brian, is that the Brian Morris who I believe was a stud FB player for Butte Central? If so this kid has football in his genes!

He is the son of that Brian Morris.

Thx for update. That is great. His dad was a beast!

Yep Butte Central 1982, played fullback for Stanford. Great guy

His dad played fullback for Stanford. Then attended Stanford law school. Later clerked for the US Sup Ct. (Chief Justice Rehnquist). Is now a federal district court judge, and good guy. I think the older brother of the recruit was a soccer player.

Kid has good genes....academically and athletically. Solid pick up!

The flathead valley has and will continue to produce great players. Glacier, Flathead, Whitefish and now Columbia falls as well as Bigfork are producing great players. We are fortunate to have a wonderful youth football program that feeds all these schools. Flathead Valley Little Guy Football is an excellent program that kickstarts these kids before middle school. Gives some of these kids five years of football before they play a down in high school.

With 4 FCS commits how was Glacier not better?

They had a tough start to the year. Games moved and games cancelled due to various things like forest fires and threats to the school. That may have had an impact.

Yeah I know it was rough, but Flathead had a better year and c falls obviously did too. Just seems odd that with that good of a coach and those players they wouldn't be better. I suppose the new kids, Morris and Estes, may not have been in sync early. It also is a great example of how important a deep roster is at all levels of football.

Yeah thats true. Also, they are a high school team, so sometimes things just happen. This year may have just been an anomaly.

Glacier has 3 Griz commits and doesn't even make the AA playoffs.....maybe Grady Bennett isn't as good a coach as he claims to be.

Yeah a couple a guys make a list of high school prospects and will.... yeah it's just a list made up by a couple of guys. Grizzcabin do you really think Hauck is already doing a bad job because he recruited this kid. Did you not read the skyline sports story about him. Do you really think Hauck first consults this list before he decides to recruit a guy. Come on, he recruited the best high school tight end in the state this season. What's with all the negativity after only Haucks' first recruit. What a lame post by a hater. Get real and take your anti-bobby shit talk else where.

What is this TE position you speak of?

Apparently Hauck doesn't know we don't need TE's anymore. His old school antics won't work here. Next thing he'll be bringing in FB's. SMH.

Are you serious? Not sure id this supposed to be facetious.? If it's for real, dude every NFL team uses tight ends. 24 out of the 25 top ten DI teams all use tight ends. Washington State is the only one that doesn't and it's because Leach said he can't find one good enough to play the position he would love to have even one. Lol. NDSU Uses tight ends and will, they are the gold standard of the FCS so yeah we need tight ends who are big, agile, fast and are Montana boys, who can also play hback and fullback. Go MAx go HAuck Go Griz :thumb:
