I absolutely LOVE that uniform!
I think the paw on the helmet looks OK. WTS, I would respond to those that support it, but I'm not talking to them at the moment...![]()

If black is "in," for whatever reason, this uni looks good, except the paws on the shoulders should have the claws pointing in. As is, they look too much like Ducks uni's. Oh, yes. Keep the Griz logo on the helmets.BigPawzSharpClawz said:Grizo406 said:This uniform is very cool. I like the paw print (obviously) back in the day ALL WHITE used to be the thing. Now the all black look is really popular with this generation of player & the recruits that will be interested in wearing it. It's all smart & intelligent means to promote your institution through the success of athletics.Montanan said:http://www.nikeblog.com/2011/12/12/university-of-montana-pro-combat-uniform/

I don't know where this "issue" came from. Of course, I can't speak for Black players. Like all athletes, they want to get a good education and play for a school, regardless of its colors. Is this just a PC thing? It sounds like reverse discrimination, to me.
UM should go with its traditional school colors and forget whatever trends are out there. The question is, "Is this about negating racism, or is this about a school winning games"? Why does race have to be an issue to the extent it involves designing a school's colors to include that consideration, if, indeed, it does? I'm sure it's a non-issue with Black players. I'm sure they don't consider a school for the amount of black it has in its uniforms.
No, MT should go with maroon and silver, its traditional colors.
:wtf:

Early onset of dementia and Alzheimer’s are not a laughing matter, and should not be mocked on this board. I find that insensative.
