I look for them and just keep getting flipped off by a little girl. haha

IGF, just a thought, but perhaps "www.BangkokRedLightDistrict.com" isn't the proper place to be searching.

Ursa Major: Actually, of course, both spellings are acceptable as all non-Neandertals know, but Neandertal is preferred in more scientific circles. How embarrassing for you, after making a big show of your ignorance. Here you go; read about yourself.

Neandertals

Neandertal hunters

The most well-known late archaic humans were the Neandertals . More Neandertal skeletons have been found than any other ancient human species. They lived in Europe and Southwest Asia from at least 130,000 years ago until around 28,000 years ago. This is in the late Pleistocene Epoch. It is likely that the Neandertals evolved from Homo heidelbergensis in Southern Europe. Neandertal-like skull characteristics have been found in 400,000 year old fossils from Spain. The Neandertals adapted physically and culturally to the ice age conditions that prevailed during much of their time.

"The problem with Progressives is that they want to believe that all progress is good, all the while worrying about the effects of global warming -- which was brought to them by, yep, progress. And it of course spawned pseudo-intellectual, bloviating blowhards like you."

Well, well … very interesting. The simpleton has inadvertently put his hairy, unsanitary, nose picking digit on the great irony of the age. Of course, he has no concept of irony and could only hit on something interesting if it were totally inadvertent. We liberals, or progressives — aka smart people -- all too painfully understand the problems inherent in progress for a race that includes so many low brow fools who, by definition, are utterly unequipped … short sighted, morally backward, intellectually deficient and shallow … to handle the issues which grow out of progress at a certain, advanced stage. However, since we are not content to inhabit forever the dank, disease ridden caves with our lesser brethren, we bargain with the Devil and forge ahead into the unknown, knowing full well that at some point the tawdry, unevolved wretches making up the lower half of the race will drag us down ... or attempt to, as they are now. Just another problem for the evolved half to solve. Another beautiful irony of it all is when those same disastrous monkeys subvert all action to avert catastrophe from something like climate change and then blame it all on the people who would and could easily solve the problem.

“Oh, the joys of Progressivism.” Grisly Fan

If it weren’t for Progressivism, football would consist of a few Neandertals like Grisly Fan and Ursa Major and other geniuses bouncing coconuts off each other’s pin heads from the trees that they had always been afraid to come out of … until a liberal showed the poor, perpetually frightened trogs how to do it. And, the progression of ideas, changes and improvements in the game from that point down to its current form would be opposed by the backward dingbats every step of the way. Then, after each improvement had been made and established over their bitter, monosyllabic objections, they’d spend the day running around on all fours grunting in a self-congratulatory manner as though the new idea had been all theirs from the start … even though they’d never had an idea in their narrow, little lives or heard of a new one they didn’t hate.

See, it’s just like coach told you, “Sport’s a metaphor for life.” You were just too stupid to learn the right lessons.
Here's a tip, next time you try and make someone look stupid by calling them a Neandertal, try spelling it correctly. Neanderthal.
Uh... You are letting FB off pretty light here.

You will perhaps appreciate this the most, FB is an attention whore. If his real personality is anything like the internet caricature, he probably suffers from a personality disorder. If I had to guess, probably Boderline Personally Disorder with histrionic, antisocial, and narcissistic features. The best strategy for dealing with this type of attention seeking behavior is to set a boundary and ignore them. The more attention you pay to them the more they win. You don't win arguments with people like him. For him, the subject matter is always secondary to the attention that is sought. There are a few other posters on here that are quite similar. ;)

Although your description of FB is more in line with Trump, I do agree that internet personas are more primal than a person's real life personality. Indeed, we all wear masks based on our context in the real world. Masks that are hard to put on when simply viewing words on a screen. Personally, I think the internet persona is more real.

Ursa Major gets himself slapped down for making political statements on a football board and retreats into inane psycho-babble with a string of trite, pop psych cliches … too funny, but a rilly good move, buddy … you weren’t going to be able to handle the actual issue, anyway, and it's an excellent way for you to avoid further embarrassment. Stick to football and leave the more sophisticated subjects to people able to handle them … then you won’t hang your dim ass out there so stupidly in the future.

At least Ursa has a sense of humor. In my book, that's a highly evolved trait....

Not FCS or turf related, but had to share these Air Force helmets. wow.

I agree that humor is a highly evolved trait … which is why I look up to my crazy cat so much. This presents us with a mystery. My theory is that Ursa Minorcus was born with the brains to be a liberal, but that numerous insults to the brain from repeated concussions — and perhaps alcohol and bouts of erotic asphyxiation -- destroyed his potential in all physical segments of the brain but those involving humor.

Someone said they wanted this back on the regular board. Good idea, so why not just start another thread there ... Turf II, or something like that, whilst eschewing the tenuous connections between plastic grass and politics so it can remain there unmolested by moderators and their strange ideas.
