New Tunnel Run video?

cats don't do many things well but one thing they do do well are videos. Conner is good at what he does.

I agree, I saw a 5:30 news clip on him, he does a real nice job.

MSU marketing in Butte has been big-time, I haven't seen squat on UM marketing in Butte.

I agree that one thing MSU is great at is marketing. I wish UM would make more of an effort to hype up games. The video athletics posted hyping up the App State game is a start in the right direction.

I remember when MSU was terrible at marketing (it seemed to me at least) Connor, and the marketing people MSU has now, have done a great job of being ahead of the "game".

The games sell out because of the product on the field. 25 years of success will do that. I'm just thinking in regard to videos that promote the season or big games to get people even more excited (Griz Nation already gets excited).

I'm just glad to hear there will be something new. The longstanding pregame is getting tired. And I agree that we see more about MSU in Butte nowadays. UM needs to get proactive. There is still a 4-1 Griz to Cat gear ratio in most of our stores here. So it's not all downhill. This is going to be a big year gentlemen. Can't wait for kickoff!!!.

It was in todays paper and on the news tonight (compliments of msu sports information) that msu sold out their season tickets "At the earliest point in it's history (Aug 9)".

The newscast also said that they called UM and was informed that Montana still has a few hundred season tickets unsold.

Granted msu only sells 10,500 season tickets out of 17,777 seats.

Again, I see msu marketing in Butte every single day, and I see Griz marketing in Butte maybe once a week if that. msu is doing a great job gaining more and more of a fan base... I read an article recently where even President Engstrom said that UM needs to start concentrating more on marketing.

MSU has to market on the business side way harder than the Griz because they're done playing by the 2nd round of the playoffs every year, that is if they make it. The GRIZ playing on ESPN infront of a packed WAGRIZ stadium as a blizzard rolls through(which is usually the norm) is the best piece of marketing a school could ask for!

I loved that pregame video. Started off showing earth from space, then zoomed in until you could see North America, then Montana with all the main cities shown (except Bozeman LOL) then zoomed in on Wa Griz. It was awesome! It's been 8 or 10 years since they have shown it but IMO it was the best pregame video we ever had.
