NCAA compliance, Boosters, and Social Media

Gifts and Social Media. Hmm? Better ignore all those FarmVille and Candy Crush requests from anyone that is a potential recruit. :)

Ha, ok - I follow a group of current players but most of the team doesn't tweet anyways.

ya zero chance I was talking about you b-wahl. i'm just betting it really irks a certain poster (or two) when the pesky ncaa tries to get in the way of their relationship with players...

man this thread has to just kill a certain poster here...

I was always under the impression that PR just tried to stalk the current players, not the recruits. Am I wrong?

Or you can just name names, and quit being a bitch about it.

I did a write up about this very topic and posted it to WyoNation, bullet pointing all of these points, because it's important. There's a guy I used to follow on Twitter who is a fan, but good grief if the compliance dept saw his acct they'd have his ass banned from Laramie in a heartbeat.. he's going to cause a violation someday. It's sad to see a middle aged man chase the jerseys of high school prospects, but this guy is beyond pathetic.

I dono what this thread is about and I don't really care...
All I have to say is...
We're gonna torch the cowgirls FBS bitch ass next year.

FTC

Cowboys return nearly every single person on an offense that's 8th in FBS, and a quarterback who ranks in the top 5 in YPG. I'm not worried.

Cowboys MIGHT have a winning season this year...

It would be an upset but if I were a big cowboy fan I'd be worried....very worried

JJ will be a senior and if they finish this season with a typical Montana late season surge they could be very dangerous next season.

Like other FBS schools lately, WYO might just realize it's not very smart to schedule top FCS "cupcakes" such as Montana...

Can't wait for this one.

PT, I am only going to warn you once on this. Stop lying about me. If I catch you lying again, I assure you that I will take appropriate action.

Wyoming will have their own senior QB from Oregon.. who is far superior to JJ in every way. He's going to go in the top 3-4 rounds of the 2015 NFL draft. The game makes sense to schedule since the schools share a border. We're not worried about this game.
