NC=MSU/EWU VS UM

Well that would take several miracles, including us beating NDSU in their dome, and MSU not losing a first or second round game by 30

As long of a shot as it is, that would pretty much be the sweetest victory imaginable. Ten years after the Bison come to Missoula as a D-II and upset UM on homecoming (I think?), the Griz go to Fargo and spoil their run at a 3-peat. :rockon:
 
I've been thinking the whole season how great it would be to meet up with the Bison in the playoffs. To be the best, you have to beat the best. It would be a long shot, but if we're not in the running to win it all, you might as well see what you're made of
 
My gut feeling is that NO BSC team will be playing in Frisco. The caveat would be if a team can get home games all the way. I do not believe any BSC teams can beat quality teams on the road.

They're ranked between 16th to 19th right now in the GPI, Polls, SRS, CPUs - whatever you want to use. They've got a big win against SE Louisiana and have played NDSU and Nebraska. They have a played a really tough schedule and are 6-4 at this point.

At this point, they are definitely a playoff at-large team. I don't know if that qualifies as getting so much love. Pretty justified actually.
 
I can go with everything on that prediction except for Samford. Unless he thinks Samford will beat Chattanooga and take the SOCON AQ - but I think that's even a stretch as Samford has faltered down the stretch.

I'd probably go with Delaware instead.
 
I'm liking the conspiracy theory of the committee putting MSU on a shorter track to NDSU than anyone else. I'd swap UM and MSU in that bracket.
