A handful of other LG players posted to their Instagram stories about it, too.Well if there's any worry about players, Macy, Wacker and Waddington have all posted to their Instagram about it so I would assume Avery is coming back.
What does skin color have to do with competence?Have the Lady Griz ever had a Black coach? Is it time?
Good grief! We can't even recruit black players. Including a very good local one just finishing up at Big Sky High.Have the Lady Griz ever had a Black coach? Is it time?
Her dad also tweeted this:Well if there's any worry about players, Macy, Wacker and Waddington have all posted to their Instagram about it so I would assume Avery is coming back. If there was a worry. She's who your team is going to be built on after Mack graduates, IMO.
City...right on cue.Have the Lady Griz ever had a Black coach? Is it time?
As did her mom on FacebookA great decision and good hire. I see Avery Waddington’s Dad highly approved on Twitter!
Skyline Sports confirming staff being retained - I'm guessing that is implying all of current staff will be back:Just confirmed Lindsey will be on staff.
Let me give you ten good reasons why I believe this is a good idea:City...right on cue.
Because white coaches can't recruit black players...that does seem to make sense looking at the NCAA as a whole...Let me give you ten good reasons why I believe this is a good idea:
DeCuire
Whitney
Moore
Pridgen
Jedkins
Sawyer
Thompson
Henderson
Foy
Dargan
Oh, and here's another good one for all the old-timers on this Board:

I would love too see a Lady GRIZ coach of color that is from the inner city In our region--Seattle-Tacoma, Portland, Oakland, LA, etc.-- that would love to recruit in the inner city for the LG--think s female Travis DeCuire. Not every inner-city star girl's basketball player wants to leave the big city, but some do, looking for a safer, slower-paced small-city environment and a school where they can earn a great education !!! And by so doing, we will improve the speed and athleticism of our all-white girl's team and some black and Hispanic inner-city girls will have new lifelong friends from small-town Montana !!!Have the Lady Griz ever had a Black coach? Is it time?
Add me to the "cue," and the queue! There should be NO question, argument or ethical examination regarding who is qualified, capable or competent. Instead, I fully believe Montana's teams should look like normal American society... like all the students sitting in a classroom, walking down a campus sidewalk, or chatting in a dorm lounge. What has seemed odd to me, in fact, is the lack of ethnic diversity in "some" teams. I firmly advocate recruiting outstanding student athletes, regardless of ethnicity, culture or "class."Let me give you ten good reasons why I believe this is a good idea:

I don't think for a minute there's any racism in UM's athletic department in general recently, past-to-present but whereas our men's teams have and do very actively recruit the inner cities In our region, the LG have not done so.
Good deal! He'll still have to make one hire to replace himself. Beyond that it's big keeping Wooley on staff!Skyline Sports confirming staff being retained - I'm guessing that is implying all of current staff will be back:
Good thing Wisconsin has a head coach of color.By the way, I'm privvy to some inside info which I'll share here: Our starting lineup against Wisconsin:

If the BEST candidate for the position is pink with purple spots I would support that hire. Skin color should not matter at all.Hire the best candidate for the position, regardless of race, gender, or ethnicity. With that being said, if the best candidate for the position was a person of color, I would highly support the hire.
