bigsky33, if and I mean IF Bohl said those things it was to keep his players grounded. No matter what you say OSU and KSU are far superior teams than SMU and TT. Please tell me what TT is ranked after their stellar performance against the power house team of SMU????

Was not comparing those schools to SMU. My point is that Kansas St. and Oregon St. were not as good as advertised. SMU was a bowl team last year but I agree didn't look good against Texas Tech. My point is anytime you play up it is tough as the speed is much faster and the depth difference is substantial with 22 more scholarships. Anytime an FCS school wins one of these games it is a credit to that school. When was the last time the Griz won a play-up game?

Either it's a big win against a much more speed and a credit to the school for winning a "play up" game, or it's a should-win (must win in this case) that keeps them at their current rank. I'm confused. Which is it?

CDA where do you ever get that this is a must win game? Only in your feeble mind!

Because if the Cats lose, they will have lost to an inferior team.

NDSU and EWU proved they could take care of business in games they should win. The Cats did the same last week. If the Cats can't do it this week, it means they are no different than any other Cat team in recent history. Can't get it done. If they are no different than any other Cat team in recent history, it means they aren't going very far come playoff time (if they even make the playoffs). Must win.

Hey moron, most FBS teams were a bowl team. That's why some bowl teams end up with losing records. It's a pretty pathetic system. So being a bowl team and winning the toilet bowl or the your teams suck bowl but we wanna cash in on the ticket and tv revenue bowl in Shrevport in mid December really does not impress me to much.

So, are you one of those Griz fans that want to move up to the FBS so you can maybe qualify for one of those meaningless, krappy bowls? I agree with you toad. It doesn't mean much to qualify for a bowl other than the fact that you did have a half- way decent team. When was the last time a Griz team beat an FBS team? You didn't answer that one.

Toad???????? Seriously?????

If Eastern and NDSU beat ranked FBS teams and the kittens lose to a toilet bowl FBS team, How far below Eastern and NDSU should the kittens be ranked at next week?

and how far up will the Griz climb by not playing and living off the win over App St from last week? ;)

Bohl didn't say ANYTHING like that. wow 33, why make stuff up??? and why are you, a fan of an FCS TEAM, trying to diminish what NDSU and EWU just did. Kansas State AND Oregon State are not just quality programs. THEY ARE BIGTIME programs and even if they don't have strong seasons, they play in the PAC 12 AND BIG 12 for gods sakes. Trying to down talk either one of those programs might have been your all-time dumbest post!

Sorry, but Bohl did say that in an interview on the Tim Brando show yesterday. He said we were fortunate to have most of our starters returning and Kansas St. had lost something like 22 players. EWU win was huge too. Oregon St. even with the losses due to graduation were ranked #25. The coaches and media felt they were pretty strong going into the season based on that. Tremendous victories for all the FCS schools that beat FBS schools last week for sure. Not diminishing those games in any way. Anytime an FCS school beats an FBS school it is a big accomplishment. When was the last time the Griz beat an FBS team?

We got them right where we want now...

If the Cats win, it's cause SMU sucks and we will make fun of the Cats.
If the Cats lose, it just doesn't matter that they stepped up to play an FBS team. This fan base will bash the hell out of them cause it's more fun than talking about our team and football.

Didn't you get the dick pumper award yesterday? Getting kind of greedy going for two in a row, but you are well on your way.

Here is his award: :jack:

Yes, Bigsky33, I'm well aware of what Bohl DID say. What I'm saying you lied about was quoting him as saying "Kansas State was not at all a Top 25 Team". That's what you said he said, and he never ever said anything like that. Nice try though.

Yeah, and MTheadguy, if you don't like the threads on here about the Cats, maybe you'll find the like the seven or eight about the Griz on Bobcat Nation currently running more to your liking. Those are constructive and necessary criticisms of the Griz and their fans, right?
