MSU vs SMU

The difference between the Griz game and cat game is the Griz actually played a game. App State was in the game until the 4th quarter. They had a turnover going in and threw an interception killing they're chances. Monmouth was never in the game. They were very over matched from the beginning and was nothing more than earning the check. This was nothing more than a scrimmage rather than a game. App State would provide a similar beat down to Monmouth. What I find interesting is the cat fans in they're we hate the Griz so bad agena will bad mouth a flagship program like App State. Kudos to App State and the class they brought to FCS football :thumb:
Total 100% agreement!! Now if the cants wouldn't have wimped out against NDSU I would have watched the entire game. But it probably would have turned out the same except the cants would have been seriously stomped on instead of Monmouth. It almost makes me think these cat fans think that Monmouth could beat App State.

Cats will get manhandled in the trenches on both sides of the ball against SMU, just like they will on Nov 23. They will lose both games handily!

Agreed 100%. With any luck, they'll fall just short of the playoffs.

Do you think SMU is big or something

OL avg 6-4 296
DL avg 6-3 260*

*SMU rins a 3-4 which only has one big run stopping DT

I'm sure you go around messing with guys 6'4" 290 and 6'3" 260.

It isn't like they're big or something.

After what I saw Saturday night. I think Monmouth could probably beat App State.

:msugrad: Poor Gavin don't knows shit. Football GAMES are supposed to played over a 4 quarter time frame. If the result is as he says it not a football game but a scrimmage. Idiot!

Well, since I believe App would beat the cats, the monmouth claim is pure BS. Those guys will be brought down to earth soon enough, and be a non factor about playoff time. And I will be the first to remind them!

Good post..
:P

There was a silver lining in that game as the Bobcats didn't have to show much of their new offense. They got it done very early. It helps down the road an hopefully with SMU this week.

Poor Gavin don't knows shit.

Or, in his particular case, Gavin donos shit.

I got a few texts from cat fans claiming the same thing. Evidently, they just haven't watched enough good football over the last 35 years to compare.

".........It will be 97 degrees in Dallas with about 60% humidity at kickoff."

......

Something to be said there. I did some fishing in Mexico this summer (usually go in the winter) Everyone said it would be so hot down there this time of the year. I looked at the forecast before I left and the temps down there showed to be a few degrees cooler than what it was here at the time. I thought I was set getting out of Montana's heat wave. No such luck. The humidity totally kicked my behind. Could barely take it, made this Montana boy very sluggish. Had to drink a lot of beer.

I was just making that up cuz it sounded like something stupid a cat fan would say... Turns out, they're not as smart as I originally thought. And that isn't saying much. Poor ignorant bastards. Wow.

m.s.u. doesn't matchup well with s.m.u. receivers are too slow and simply not enough team speed on offense. mustangs will win by 2-3 touchdowns.

Wrong....MSU has some great backs, and you know it. Hopefully they can catch passes, because they're likely to be playing catch up this weekend.I watched the MSU/Monmouth game, and the SMU/TT game. Based on those games only, SMU will handle the Cats easily. I expect SMU to score at least 40; the Cats to be under 25.

I used to before the heart attack and stroke. But, I'm also 6'5" and 270#. Now, I don't want to mess with anyone.

Is this real? It's the stupidist thing I've ever seen on egriz (and that's saying a lot).

Kitties would have had a better chance last week. After the FCS upsets last week I'd think the SMU coaches would be able to get their team focused on the game.

It sure sounds like something one of them would say...

perhaps the cats should start buying out their playoff games to save them the embarassment?
