MSU vs. Sac State.

Cal's defense held Halliday to 734 through the air in shutting WSU down on its way to a 60-59 win.

Had the Cougs simply been able to grab a few more rebounds I think it would have been a different game. Just too many second chance looks for Cal.

Ha! Nicely done, EG. :thumb:

You should go see a doctor if you're "up" for longer than 4 hours.

I'm so proud of what the MSU game thread has become. A round on the house!

Your "pride" might get deflated if you don't get to that doc.

:coffee:

Not for another 4!

Gonna ride this one out huh?

Well, don't say nobody warned ya. The damage is irreversible.

Don't worry about that needle, it'll only hurt for a month.

Saffron has 463 yards and 5 TDs tonight.

Prukop ended up with EIGHT TD's, five passing, three rushing. Had almost 500 yards. Will probably the BSC pow again. Might get the national pow.

Congrats to them, MSU, and Sac State for great offensive games.
Where is the defense though? Like it or not, those defenses are every bit as bad as our offense. The team that improves the most on the other side of the ball will likely be the team going far the playoffs. Which team will it be?

I hate hate hate games like that.

Just pathetic defense from both teams. They have good offenses, but not that good.

Dunno on the question about where our D is. We have good talent, and have played excellent D during some quarters of every game. But they can't seem to play that way for 4 quarters. I'm glad we've already played the most potent offenses we'll play this regular season, by far. I am betting out defensive #'s start improving drastically from here on out. Sure as hell can't get much worse.

It's annoying, but I love watching them. Fun as hell. This game and the EWU games were incredible to watch.

The MSU D only gave up 7 in the first half. Just need to figure out how to adjust to fatigue in the second half. Wether that means rotating guys through with more frequency or adjustment to scheme to accommodate that fatigue, or some combo thereof, might be situational, but clearly MSU needs to learn how and when to adjust to

Question for the Cat fans: Do you worry about Prukop getting hurt on a scramble going head first rather than sliding? He seemed to take some pretty big shots last night. Any durability concerns?
