Oh and he was driving a university car as well. You can't make this stuff up!

I just imagine him driving hammered in a giant Bobcat head like the Mutt Cutts van on Dumb and Dumber.

No penalties for those coaches over in Bozo it appears.

So, for clarification, was this technically a state of Montana owned vehicle?

It's an interesting question. If so, I wonder if the "friend" was also authorized to drive it. Also, the article says the tow company responded to the crash. Why did a tow company respond to the crash if the "friend" drove the wrecked vehicle away from the scene? I understand that the reporters are dealing with incomplete/imperfect information, but the article reads very strangely.

Hey, where is Pat Williams to have an opinion on this scandal. 2/3 of the cat coaching leadership has a DUI. That's unacceptable. Let's see if their president has the fortitude to do the right thing and fire Vigen. He is a failed leader of men. Why would a parent entrust that staff to help turn their boys into men?

But, an even bigger problem is the dude couldn't even kick. Loser.

I prefer the Whiteclaw Pure flavorless seltzer. If you spill on your Khakis it doesnt stain. In fact you can get stains out of clothes with Whiteclaw Pure. Got the Pendleton stains out of the Rodeo clowns brushpopper no problem. -Coach Sixx

Sixx needs to add a position to his staff. Designated Driver For His Good-Timing Coordinators.

 MSC is so focused on due process they believe there is a hyphen in it. Can’t even spell.
I seriously do not believe they have any critical writing courses.

Does anyone know how the Bozeman DC's third DUI arrest worked out in the end, or is still a big mystery?

A courtesy car is usually one supplied by a dealer. Coaches often drive cars like this from dealers. The dealer gets various benefits, including season tickets, and is credited with supporting the team/program. So, the vehicle may not be an MSU-owned car. It seems odd that the friend was driving the OC's car, and a tow truck was called. Maybe the car became un-drivable. Tow trucks can't tow a vehicle that has been involved in a wreck where there have been damages, until the police have come to the scene. Assuming the OC knew he was drunk, and I assume he did if he had his buddy drive his car, he should not have stayed on the scene for the tow.

I wonder if the friend was another coach or perhaps someone else who works with the program.

I predict the coach will be suspended from on-field coaching until Aug. 1. Ha.

What’s the precedent over in bozeman? Both coordinator’s get DUI’s. One is now working on his 4th the other leaves the scene and refuses breath test. Essentially covering up his mistake. Will they change the student athlete conduct to players are now ok to drink and drive(course not) but this really is bad optics for Cruzado to deal with. Heck if this was the custodian at the field house in Missoula there would be a public outcry.

just speculating here, but sounds like he could have been leaving in his buddy's vehicle and ended up getting pulled over before he made it very far.

Wow, I thought Garza should have been fired or at least suspended until a court decision is reached. Now, I feel Housewright should be fired or indefinitely suspended. House’s situation is even worse with leaving the scene. His actions are beyond stupid. There is no excuse. I wonder what happens with a professor, janitor or staff member when they get a DUI? Do they get fired or suspended? I would think they have to treat everyone equally. Would like to see Vigen publicly address this.

Sure thing. VEGAN should be fired. He is a failed leader. Period. Both of his coordinators...seriously? Dude hired poorly. The truth is those who get caught driving drunk have done so many, many times before. Cat land is completely out of control. Your President better do something about it as it is embarrassing the Last Best Place. Gross.

Win at all costs in bozo I guess. Ugly trend and someone with some leadership over there better clean house. I’m not going to hold my breath for accountability after they completely failed on Garza. I’m just curious why anyone would want their kid to play for those booze hounds.

Nope absolute crickets in Bozeman by msu, the sports reporters, and the program. None of the reporters have the balls or professionalism to find out what happened there.

Maybe they’re still “gathering all the facts”.
