Refs were on the Bobcats team. EWU completed that catch and he was down by knee. That call was the worst call I've ever seen.

The only thing missing in that shit show was my dream cat-5 slamming into the stadium ripping out the turf and killing all the cat and eagle fans that post on eGriz.

That was a very strange call, even in real time. Not only was he down, he was down for like two seconds before the ball came out.

My exact thought. I told the lady anyone would have to be mentally disabled to rule that any other why. I was sitting there wondering why they were replaying it so many times... not once did it look like anything other than a catch. Ewu wins that game without that horrendous call.

Catch the ball, go to the ground, roll onto your back, lay there for a couple beats, ball comes out, Cat catches it. That all adds up to a Big Sky INT. No chance MSU would’ve stopped them if the correct call was made. Game was uggo.

We have all had calls where we got screwed or a call in our favor by big sky refs. They certainly took a lot of time reviewing it. As you guys always say, a win is a win!

It's just that that call was obvious... like I feel like a toddler could make that call. 😕

If a player goes to the ground in the act of catching a pass (with or without contact by an opponent) he must maintain complete and continuous control of the ball throughout the process of contacting the ground, whether in the field of play or in the end zone.

I would like to see it again, but I am not so sure the officials got it wrong.

If Danny U had not wound up with it and it being called an interception, no one would question that it was incomplete, how often does it happen that a receiver catches the ball for an instant but contact with the defender or the ground knocks the ball loose and it is called complete. He didn't take a step or anything and the ball was loose immediately at the time he touched the ground. Being an interception worked in EWU's favor

Just can’t see the Cow Bell Ringers winning this one. Defense not what it was. Eagles have an open week to prepare for “One Trick Tommy”.

Birds 37
Moo U 24

Ball gets snapped over Merlots head for an easy safety!
Great prediction D-bag....

Must be downtime after the Labor Day Extravaganza selling and packaging kitten and flower T-shirts for octogenarians.

He was pretty close. One correct call on the field, and the Bobs probably drop the game. Tommie Touchdown seemed to be a non-factor from the box score, but I’m guessing he got hurt? Only caught the last 5 minutes or so after changing it from the Griz blowout.

Yep. Butte tough wine guy got hurt...not good. Backup got put through the meat grinder as well. Would hate to be a skill player for the kittens...death trap.

Yes, they did win without Tommy M and their 4th string RB and without two of their best defensive players. I will take it. A win is a win!

That’s beautiful. Is that Voltaire?

He had continuous possession. Plus the ball came out after he was down, that didn't help you bud. Plus I know the rules. Lmao
