Was it coming to grips the WGS is not the main stage, or that August football games mean little to nothing unless you are an inferior program with nothing to lose, but can gain a whole lot by knocking off the top team in the land?

If I were an NFL GM and/or Coach, I would take a long look at e-griz for the real line on him. Given the enormous depth of player evaluation experience here, I would personally value the opinion of our resident pundits over that of quacks like Mike Mayock, Todd McShay, etc. etc.

Great point. Vents will likely be a really good career backup. I don't see him as a NFL starter. He might start a few games here and there in place of a fallen teammate, but he won't run the show for a good team. He reminds me of a young Steve Beuerlein. He can always get a job, but he's no show pony.

Mayock is the only one that gets it, McShay and Kiper are tools that couldnt find growlers knuckles in their own asses.

Wentz is the best QB in this draft and it isnt close he is the most well rounded athlete to come out at the QB position since......................I cant think of an NFL QB that has ALL the physical and mental attributes that Wentz does, he is unique. Maybe Rodgers but Wentz has him beat in size speed and arm strength.

I remember you talking about Wentz before Jensen was off campus. Something like the next NDSU qb was a much better athlete. It certainly holds true. The only concern I have is if he ends up in a sh!t pond like Cleveland... :egriz:
