He too is also a more accomplished and experienced coach than BK.
 
Fun fact $175,000 base is what Bob Stitt made at UM in his first season 11 years ago. As we all know inflation has made $175,000 in 2015 worth substantially more than $175,000 in 2026.
 
Some of these posts should be deleted and sent to the poor-post graveyard. Accounts should be deleted.

1. He has no HC experience.
2. His resume is not the same as the neighbor coach's current pact or even Stitt's at the time of his hire.
3. He will earn big bumps if he wins - commensurate with traditional coaching salaries in the state.
4. He signed the friggin' thing, so he and, yes, his wife are satisfied.

Laymen sports entertainment managers need to leave this stuff to the pros.

When you look at the contract BK is paid 40K extra for playing the beavers. Not sure of future schedules if there are any other FBS teams added but as of now not aware of any. That in itself is an added bonus.
 
Some posters seem to think the Griz should be pushing the Big Sky for more media rights since the Griz are supposedly one of the strongest brands in the conference yet UM’s head coach is earning the second lowest base salary in the conference. You can’t have it both ways complaining that the Big Sky is holding the program back yet investing less in your head coach than every other Big Sky program besides Portland State.

And who knows what this poster's comment even means? He's getting a bunch of "huh's?". And he wants to tell you 10 is higher than O, yet no one has a clue what he's even talking about. He may want to start with the English language and writing coherently before he starts talking about numbers.
