Yup! The game didn't matter at all. That is evidenced by the fact that over half of Vents' highlights on the draft shows are in a white jersey in WaGriz. Shows us how relevant the rest of their season was in the eyes of the national media. They don't mention the fact that he couldn't win on the main stage. Maybe he is the next Romo.

"Over half the highlights"- hilarious

WGS = "main stage" - double hilarious

HAHAHAHAHAHA! Super funny. Watch his "highlights" on any show.
Also, if WaGriz isn't the main stage of FCS, then Bozeman might have a party.

Sure has been fun watching all of the Griz players compete at the combine this year.

Yep. Thanks for logging onto eGriz.com to let us know. We are all in awe. Hahaha!

Yeah, I like to talk about how the three-time national champions shat down their legs on the main stage. It was pretty funny to see those fats waddle back to their cars. Hahaha!

f*** if WGS was the "main stage " not sure what you can call a 37-6 beat down in the tin shed,

You could call it the Tin Shed. Seems like you are already on your way to realizing it.

I don't care what I or you call it. Still have never seen NDSU get beat inside it......and clearly the Griz couldn't handle that place. 37-6. Just a pure ass kicking.

Best homefield advantage in the FCS. If the Bison shot themselves inside of WGS, the Griz must have sat on a toilet seat for a week. What a fucking ass kicking.

A nice, young fan. Haha!

Cool, because I call it a Jehovah's Witness Hall of Triple Chins. The only reason I call it that is because that's exactly what it is. Sorry.

Cool. Griz still have never won a football game in it. Clearly too intimidating of an environment.

Fuck man...the Bison were beating the Griz in the vaunted WGS when they were just a D2 team.

Wentz was not the best looking QB at the combine. I would say third or fourth. He may have better physical attributes than Goff but you could tell Goff was a far superior QB. Passes were much more crisp. Also I believe Wentz is a project. His greatest weakness is reading defenses and anticipating the throw. Not gonna work in the NFL when he is under pressure.

Probably why you aren't involved in football at a professional level. Virtually anyone that does football for a living had the complete opposite opinion.

Wentz was the only QB "anticipating throws" at the combine. As soon as the WO turned, the ball was there. Kurt Warner talked a good deal about that last night.

And yet strangely couldn't do it as an FCS team.

You know, Lakes, I WANT to root for Wentz, but you're making it awfully damned difficult.

Meh is what it is man. Watched NDSU kick the snot out of the Griz in the playoffs. All is good.

Why? Because an NDSU fan called him the best QB at the combine? Numerous scouts said the same thing.

Hard to believe someone would change their opinion of Wentz based on some random guy on the Internet who has next to nothing in common with him other than the school we graduated from.

Guess we will see. The combine is a joke. He better be "anticipating throws" since he knows the route the one WR is running with no defense. If he ends up with Cleveland at 2 he is screwed. Best bet would be to go to a team like the Cowboys and sit for a few years.

Ya well you are also throwing to guys you are competly not used to throwing to. No idea how fast they are or how well they break. He was by far the best athlete and threw the best ball atbthe combine. Saw him throw one bad ball all day when the receiver slipped out of his break.

Not sure on Cleveland. Their new QB staff are known as QB gurus. Dallas? Fuck, who would want to play in that circus show.

I hope Chargers, Rams or Bears. Houston would also be great.

Not sure where you get he was the best athlete. While I agree his athleticism is one of his better traits he was probably the fourth best athlete there. Didn't win any events but was usually in the top 5 besides the vertical jump. And I disagree on your statement that he threw the best ball. Again I thought Goff looked much better throwing the ball. One thing I will say is Wentz is a winner and seems like a great kid. Smart and seems down to earth. I hope he proves me wrong but I just don't see it on his tape. I think the rest of his team was just that good.

Who was a better athlete as a QB at the combine than Wentz?

Agree Goff threw a nice ball. I think Wentz had far superior velocity and a better anticipatory ball on his out routes. He also threw a better deep ball.

Goff will be a good QB if he can add 20.

That was such a cute win by the lil' bizon back in 2003. I ,for one, am actually proud that it means so much to the Type II crowd. I would actually wish them to lose a foot, but I don't really have to. The average UNDSU fan looks like Steven Avery's mom.

Lol means nothing to me. I was at that game. The shell shocked look on your fans faces was certainly worse than anything I saw at WGS this year.

Jesus man you need to really get a grip on your obsession with obesity. I mean I understand you are a guy in his thirties living his life vicariously through a fan forum, but calling people fat won't make yourself any thinner. Get out and do some hiking or something buddy. Shit, strap on a pair of Velcro gloves and go chase down a sheep. Might help you shed a few.

Driskel is a better athlete. Not a better QB though.

6'5 237 pounds makes everything Wentz did more impressive in my mind. 2nd in the 40. 2nd in the broad jump and 3rd in the three cone drill. Wentz was average at best with his vertical although I am not sure why they even do that for the QB position.

You probably have me on Driskell being a better athlete. Just not sure who your three other better QB athletes were though. Guess I am going with Wentz as the top athlete given the combination of his size, speed in the 40, agility in the three cone and arm strength. No other QB matched all of those combined factors during the combine this year.
