Seriously a night game would be much better than a mid-day game with the heat. Not sure what else, besides MLB Baseball, that ESPN would need to air in the evening, especially since the game is the only football game playing that day.

It looks like it, Labor Day (and im guessing the start of the regular schedule season) doesnt fall until around the 7th of Sept in 2015

I distinctly remember seeing them on ESPN to start the 1985 season after they won the NC. I have the video.

Not to worry, as Ranger29 says, I can't imagine them making Cowherd any part of this version. (And, really, he's not so bad ... in small doses.)

As for the other point: Sorry, but Yes, the announcers will spend as much, or more, time talking up their FBS schedule as they will about the game. Replays -- except maybe for the most spectacular plays -- will be few and far between because the producers will be flashing FBS schedules and highlights for the crew to blather about. But it's still worth it because of the national exposure provided for FBS and the teams.
