To be fair, he basically said the same thing to anyone would listen before the season even started. But some fans refused to believe it. Considered it coach speak I guess. I thought Hauck did a pretty good job overall. Turnovers and failure to close out the 4th quarter being the biggest issues.

I previously posted that a recent player told me he thought the team had over achieved, given the talent level. Yet, they came oh so close to finishing with an even better record and the playoffs. The team had fight. Hauck really liked this team.

And those things can be fixed. If I remember correctly, the Cats had similar issues in Choate’s first two years of not being able to close out teams in the 4th quarter, and he said the Cats would get there. Now in year three, you certainly saw improvement in closing out games.
