I know that the majority of you idiots have incredible reading comprehension problems but seriously explain how you derived I want the past?
I want to purge the past, we know what he have with the people that have ran this program into a dumpster fire. I want new blood for the future but please explain how you got to your illogical conclusion. RMFE
A leader, coach, parent, demonstrate intangible qualities that raise those they work with and are around to higher levels. Just having knowledge and opinions is not enough (but is highly needed). Success in the past (or stating what I have done-not current) has less meaning than what I am doing right now and the plan I have. More and more today people and presentation skills are needed face to face and in all other forms of communication. Not just what is said but the delivery as to how it is said.
Don Read did not have the most impressive track record coming in 30 years ago. He had experience, and a plan for the team he was taking over. He developed a staff that led the team to places it had not been to. He did not do it solely by himself but it was his plan. The program does need to look at where it wants to go not just where it has been. This does not rule out people that have been part of the program in the past but at the same time should not rule out people who have not been part of the program. (Do not throw the baby out with the bath water so to speak).
The fan forums for the University of Montana can be very powerful and good. (For information and for entertainment). They allow people with various backgrounds and knowledge to post and express ideas. Many of the post present good information, opinion and thoughts (that can lead to positive brainstorming) only to be stopped dead by the poster lowering themselves to a middle school maturity level of name calling and put downs supported by their BUDDIES (some of the poster very well could be middle school students of course) instead of just sticking to their points and facts. Passion is fantastic, knowledge is incredible, raising others up not putting them down should be the goal.
